As a family of 4, it was great to have room to spread out after the smaller spaces in Reykjavik. You can walk to the grocery store and food hall. The river outside is so beautiful and peaceful, especially after checking out tourist attractions all day. The apartment was fantastic!

10/10 highly recommended. No doubt the best among all the accommodations of my 10-day Iceland trip. The host was so nice, she came to us with a warm greeting and introduced the apartment even we had our check-in at 8pm. The apartment was clean, comfy, tidy and spacious. Not to mention the stunning river view when you look out from the window. I even had an evening run to enjoy the riverside.

Wonderful host! Kristin was on site making sure our check in went very smooth and provided an excellent restaurant recommendation for dinner. Very conveniently located to, restaurants, groceries and gas. One of the cleanest homes I’ve stayed in. Full size washer and dryer in the unit was amazing for our family of five after traveling for a few days. Home overlooks a beautiful river. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Selfoss!

Kristin (the owner) is a very caring person, she personally come in to greet us when we arrive; she also knock the door to let us know to come out to see the northern lights; her hospitality really make us feel like we are special guests. the apartment is very clean, it is equipped with everything we need and kitchen has all needed to make reasonable dinner for family of 4. Location is also very convenience, short drive to supermarket. We were very happy with the stay. One of the best place we choose in Iceland.
