Great stay! As advertised

The property was very clean and well appointed. There were plenty of essential supplies, board games, etc. for the family to enjoy. Communication with the host started early and they were very accessible. Would look to rent again in the future.

Great property!

My husband & I decided to make our way to the area for a couple weeks to escape the Iowa winter in Jan. Due to some bad weather predicted for the area the day of our initial arrival, we decided to depart Iowa a day early & Laura was so accommodating. We were able to check in a day early and found the home clean and well-stocked with everything that we needed. Laura gave us suggestions on places to eat & visit. Communication with the host was excellent from our initial booking throughout our stay. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Home Away From Home

Perfect!

This house was absolutely perfect for us. My husband and I traveled with our teenage daughter and her friend. The house was very clean and they supplied everything you could need. They had nice security lights outside on top of living in a gated area. We love to come every summer to float the river and we will definitely stay here again. I have to add that I made a disaster with our booking and the host was so kind and flexible with me!

Mother daughter retreat

Laura made everything easy. She kept us posted and even made us a plate of cookies to welcome. The water is not exactly right there , you'll have to walk down but our girls liked it to splash around. Went tubing landa falls.

Comfortable stay

Quick Get-Away

We were very impressed with the accommodations. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The duplex was clean & as shown in the pictures. Great location. Laura sent an online guidebook, so to speak, with restaurants & places of interest, this was definitely a huge help. We will definitely be back!

It was great! Super clean, super attentive. I had to add two extra days and the process was super easy! It’s a beautiful property! The river was amazing it was overall a wonderful experience! We will be back!

Great family time!

It was a nice little home away from home. The house was right on the river for us to enjoy some fishing. We caught quite a few small bass and pirch. Our 4 year old son caught his first fish. The house was clean and the perfect size for us to relax on our get away. They even had books and a few toys geared just for our little guy when we were inside. Thank you for having us!

Great Find!

Great find in the heart of the Hill country snuggld between San Marcos, New Braunfels and Greuene. Very peaceful. There was water in the lake. However, we did not swim. The duplex is extremely clean and well-kept and Laura provides everything you really need to enjoy your stay. One suggestion I might make is perhaps putting a screen for the siding glass door that locks in case you have small children, but that way you can feel the breeze come in from the water Thank you so much!

This was a great home base to check out the towns between San Antonio and Austin. And a nice relaxing home to return to at night. Hosts responded quickly to any questions.

Quiet and comfortable

We had a pleasant stay but we were visiting family nearby, and only returned to the property to shower and sleep. Beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets, thankfully.

Nice weekend getaway

This is a very cute and clean property, stocked with all the essentials and more, plus a convenient location. We were a short drive from both San Antonio and New Braunfels, giving us lots of great options for things to do. The outside area looked like it would be very enjoyable. We did not get the chance to use is sadly because the weather was terrible during our stay. Laura was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Definitely recommend staying here. We hope to come back when the weather is better.

Peaceful

This property backs up to a river, has a nice back deck area, covered parking for one vehicle. The inside has two bedrooms, one bath, laundry, kitchen and den. Very nice, clean and stocked with amenities. Everything is labeled for ease of locating items and storage. The property owners are a lovely couple and we had wonderful communication with them. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!

A family gathering

Family members came from Washington, Idaho, and Florida to attend a wedding. The retreat was ideal for our situation. Everything was clean and adequate for our needs. Getting the lake restored will be ideal addition. Loved our time there. Aaron
