Great location for a mini-retreat!

We booked Mystic Sunset for a yearend planning retreat for a small mastermind group. It was perfect. The property had enough rooms and spaces for quiet reflection, and the welcoming lounge on the upper level was ideal for our work sessions. The views were inspiring - we even watched a meteor shower from the upper decks and the large glass windows.The location provided easy access to the outdoors, trails, groceries and restaurants. We appreciated having yoga mats and the golf green for healthy mornings. It would be even more magnificent had we been there when the pool was open…hmmm 2025?

Beautiful property

For the most part, this house was amazing. Our host, Joe, was very accommodating. The bedrooms are huge and the baths beautiful! There was plenty of room for our family of eight. Everyone had their own space! The pool area was very nice, but the pool is very small The electrical wiring around the pool somewhat concerning. Little tiny ants were also a problem. Made it difficult to lay in the lounge chairs because within a matter of minutes, they were crawling all over you. The only other thing that I would suggest is to stock the kitchen a little bit better. For the size of the house and the size of the kitchen, cooking equipment was not the best. Overall we loved it!

Great property for a young aged group

Though the home showed well in the photos, I feel the property needs to have better maid service with cleaning as well as the landscaping needs some major tuning up as its just rocks and dirt. The pool is located almost on the street, a busy annex to hiking trails. A wall around the pool property would greatly reduce the noise level, as well as it was not heated and unusable. The pool furniture needs upgrading. I feel the property is too open with access from the street and would be much better with a gate. The front foyer door is wide open access to the street and need a gate as well as a gate at the pergola entrance.The french doors do not always lock or even close completely causing them to "blow open?!" Having to pick up multiple roaches was disconcerting. All of it leading to the feeling that the property was rushed to get on market. All of the above is to say it is and would be a beautiful property for some people.

Beautiful Home

The location and home overall was beautiful abd perfect for families. There were a lot of ants all over the property grounds which made enjoying the pool area difficult. The ants eventually made there way into the kitchen. Also, there were a lot of maintenance type appointments scheduled for three consecutive days at the property. Although i do understand these things need to be done and scheduled in advance and the property manager did move one of them the 3 consecutive days was a little much. The property also states there is tv in everyroom which we found not to be the case. You have to have a streaming service to watch in the bedrooms. Although we do have those services we were traveling with an older parent that could not navigate this. Overall the views are amazing and there is plenty of room for spreading out. The home was clean and the check in process was smooth.

From the moment we arrived until the hour we departed, we felt like we had our own piece of heaven snuggled in between two beautiful vistas. My favorite part of the day was enjoying a cup of coffee on the terrace watching the sun light wake up the mountain

Beta Testing!

This is a wonderful property with lots of potential. We were the first to use it after the new owners purchased it and did remodeling. As such, we got to experience some issues being the first. If it weren't for our host, Joe, I would have rated the experience much lower. Joe was amazing with addressing our concerns in a timely manner and making phone calls to plumbers and contractors as needed. What our group enjoyed the most was the different "sanctuaries" - where each family or person could retreat to when some privacy was needed and then the large spaces for bringing us all together - which was the purpose of the trip. There were so many different areas to enjoy - the jacuzzi, star gazing, bbq, putting green, and just relaxing in nature. The street is heavily trafficked with many trails at the end of the block. That was also a blessing being so close to outdoor activities as well as close to town. I am excited to revisit this property and see it in the final state.
