Everything was excellent. The place was exactly as indicated. Great location, great view and had everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. Bev and Bill are excellent hosts and would not hesitate to stay again.....already thinking about another visit in May. Bev's scones were to die for as was her granola. She also introduced me to "shrub" which was prepared and waiting in the fridge for us. A shrub is a simple, refreshing beverage made with a bit of flavoured balsamic and sparkling water! Thank you both for a wonderful getaway!

It was the perfect getaway. Beautiful, clean, well appointed suite with access to sauna. Quiet, secluded retreat with only minutes away from shops, parks . We stayed with our old Great Dane. Bev and Bill were amazing hosts, helpful and accommodating.

We booked this property for an anniversary stay expecting a private “entire home” experience.After checking in, we realized several key aspects that significantly impacted privacy and comfort were not clear to us at the time of booking. The sauna is shared, and there is a walkway directly past the patio where people may pass by, as the owner lives above. The patio area is therefore not fully private. The main living area is on the same level as the patio and does not have blinds, which made it difficult to feel comfortable in the space.Additionally, the kitchen is located directly above the bedroom, and noise made it difficult for us to sleep, especially as we tend to go to bed early. Due to the layout, sound travels between the upper and lower levels, which further impacted privacy. The kitchen setup also does not include a stove/oven or dishwasher, which may be important for some guests to know.Due to these factors, we made the decision to check out early the following morning and moved to another property.These details would have influenced our decision to book had they been clearly understood beforehand. This may still work for some guests, but it did not align with what we were expecting for a private anniversary stay.

Stunning views, beautiful accommodation and fantastic hosts. Definitely a hidden gem. Above and beyond our expectations. Not many places where you have a choice of which deck you want to view the bay from. Or just relax in the sauna that also has a bay view.

This is a gorgeous, quiet, private well appointed suite that is both in the forest and waterfront. Sitting on any of the decks and watching the seals and eagles while having a nice campfire and then a sauna in their new outdoor barrel sauna is perfect for relaxing. The owners are friendly and welcoming and had great suggestions for day trips and restaurants. There is a covered deck with bbq if the weather isn’t cooperating, and the bed is super comfy. We will definitely be returning.

Bill and Bev were excellent hosts. They were attentive to our needs and very approachable. Bill offered to help us unload the car. There are stairs to get into the unit, which was fine for us but would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The views from the various decks are wonderful. The unit and the bed was very comfortable. The scones and homemade granola were a nice welcome. There is a toaster, microwave, counter top oven with airfryer, a bbq and a two burner induction plate for cooking. Just be aware that you cannot plug in and use more than one electric cooking implement at a time. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Bev and Bill’s vacation rental unit was very well kept and super clean. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Bev and Bill were both so very welcoming and helpful in every way, from helping us unload our vehicle into the suite in our arrival, to making great suggestions about where to eat, walk/hike and shop! Our little dog, Boba, really enjoyed his stay, too. He even got to visit with the hosts for a little while! Thank you so much for making our stay so relaxing and healing, too. We hope we can stay again!

Lovely property with great views, very clean. The views of the water are fabulous and we were greeted with very tasty scones and jam and a bottle of lemonade. We left something behind at the property and Bev was great giving us alternatives to get our items if we couldn’t get back in time to catch the next ferry. Very helpful and a lot of local knowledge. Thanks Bev we really enjoyed our stay

We had a wonderful time staying here. It was great meeting Bev, who was very friendly and helpful. The setting was spectacular and accessible for swimming (you need water shoes). The bed was comfy and there were so many little touches that we appreciated like the scones, jam, granola, bath robes, picnic basket...the list goes on!

The suit was wonderful with a large deck that led to stairs and a path to an ocean view. Our dog loved sunning himself on the deck and watching the waves crash against the rocky coastline.The kitchen was equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and hot plate. We baked our pizza on the BBQ.The hosts were wonderful and very helpful.We would definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay to explore the Sunshine Coast. The suite was lovely, clean, well stocked and cozy and the decks were awesome. We sat out every evening to enjoy the view. This place truly surprised us — in the best way. For once, the photos don’t do it justice (how often does that happen?). Honestly, we almost don’t want to share it — it’s the kind of spot you’re tempted to keep to yourself.The space was spotless, sanitized, and peaceful from the moment we arrived. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming — it truly felt like staying with an old friend who shared their slice of paradise.The views from each deck were unforgettable — floatplanes landing, ducks drifting by, and a heron patiently fishing. Morning coffee and sunset nightcaps on the deck became daily highlights that we already miss (webcam- could be the next project ;).We brought our paddleboards and found easy access to launch nearby. At low tide, we explored rocky tide pools and spotted clusters of starfish. After dark, we stargazed under a bright moon — next time, we’ll aim for darker skies to catch more of the bioluminescence.There’s plenty to explore by foot or bike — though unless you’re into serious hill climbs, e-bikes are the way to go.And yes — the granola and scones were just as delicious as other reviews promised. We’re already dreaming of a winter visit to cozy up with the art and travel books lining the shelves.End your trip here — nothing else will top it!
