Nightmare

This property is a disaster. Shabby, Tacky, unclean. First day found roaches in the bedroom, AND in a pot in the cupboard. Cleaning was minimal. Seemed the cleaners, (probably the elderly owner), only swept the main/middle of rooms. Dust and dirt in numerous areas and window sills. Kitchen is mish mash of old glasses and cups and basically all pots and pans had massive damaged areas where the teflon coating had been scraped off.Before check in the owner called me and asked that I not disclose to the neighbors how long I was staying because she was in violation of the HOA since I was only staying 6 weeks, and it was supposed to be 3 or more months. She is an intrusive, disorganized, and deceitful owner. Every week she was at the house multiple times. Came into the garage multiple times, and left the side door unlocked, which gave any intruder access to the house since the entrance door to the house from the garage wasn't locked and I wasn't given a key. Worst of all, she lied about the pool. We had emails prior to my arrival, and she assured me the pool was heated. Upon arrival the pool temp was 68 degrees. She knew the heater was broken, and so did the pool attendant who told me on the second day that it was broken and they had ordered a replacement part. NEVER fixed in 6 weeks. To summarize: Untrustworthy owner, shabby, outdated home. AVOID THIS RENTAL AT ALL COSTS!! WORST VRBO I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED.

Family time

The house was just perfect. We enjoyed the pool, had plenty of chairs on the pool deck for our family get together. The grill was in great condition to use. Plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen.

Mostly good but a few issues

Check-in process was easy. Having access to the garage was nice. Replacing the worn-out mattress in the primary suite would lead to better rest. Something may be set incorrectly on the solar pool heat. It seemed to be pumping water at night as opposed to when the sun was shining.

Was a nice location. Upon arrival the house is beautiful, the landscape does need some improvement as it looks a little over grown. The house had all the essential cooking utensils needed, including a gas grill. Shower areas seemed a little outdated. The pool area was super nice to enjoy outside time but not have bugs bothering you, as the pool area is closed in with screens/ once in the pool we realized that the light on the one end was broken and sharp if you got near it, so that needs to be fixed. I would recommend this house and will probably book it again in the future.

This gem is just as described! We had everything we needed. The pool was great, but needed attention; luckily my husband was able to do most of it. The home is beautiful. Property manager is sweet as a peach. We can’t wait to come back!

nice location

The house was comfortable overall but would be better considered for a week or two as opposed to multiple months. The pool is nice (tho we didn't use it) and the large lanai was great for sitting outside. Both bathrooms (especially the tub/showers) need complete remodeling and the TV viewing area is too confining. Also the TV was a fire stick to begin with until we convinced the owner that more was needed and FUBO TV was added. Overall our stay was good, it just lacked some user friendly comforts when staying for 4 months.

Great home 2 min from Sun-N-Lake Country Club

This home was perfect for me and a couple of friends in our annual golf outing. It was 2 minutes from the course we were playing all weekend. Our property host I would give 5 stars!!

Property in general, excellent. Mattress in guest bedroom should be replaced, sinks in the middle. Sonia was very accommodating with scheduling. Has all kitchen and grilling supplies. Second time at this property. Will consider again in the spring if bedding issue resolved.
