Peace and Relaxation in Saxon Switzerland

In 2021, we fell in love with a dilapidated farmhouse in the rear part of Saxon Switzerland.
Over the past few years, two charming vacation apartments have been created in the house. Both apartments can be booked separately or together.
The house is picturesquely situated in a valley with a stream that flows into the “Kirnitschtal.” You’ll see just how quickly you’ll forget the stresses of everyday life here.

We’re fascinated by the dance of the fireflies in the summer on the surrounding meadows, the vineyard snails as they make their way across the sandstone wall, and the sand lizards and slow worms frolicking in the sunshine. A real adventure for children of all ages.

Our meadow is home to countless herbs and, in the fall, mushrooms. Try a salad made with herbs you’ve picked yourself or a pan-fried mushroom dish, paired with a piece of well-prepared game from our hunter (there’s always some ready for the grill—just ask us).

Unfortunately, we don’t have any boulevards, shopping malls, or similar attractions to offer. However, a quaint restaurant is just a 10-minute walk away. Other restaurants are a 10-minute drive away. The nearest town, Sebnitz, is also just a 10-minute drive away. There you’ll find a supermarket, a bakery, and everything else you might need.

We’ve renovated the entire house in the most traditional way possible. You’ll see and experience it for yourselves.

The garden features a sunny lawn, several terraces, and a 7 x 4 m pool for warm days.

From our place, you can set out directly on beautiful hikes in Saxon or Bohemian Switzerland. For experienced cyclists or mountain bikers, there are exciting tours to explore.
