"Our family of five enjoyed a fun filled week at Tony's private cove on beautiful Schoodic Lake. We canoed, swam, played endless board games that were at the camp, cooked delicious meals on the grill provided and ended each day with a relaxing camp fire that looked out over the lake. There were plenty of sleeping and hang out spots for everyone, but I enjoyed the screened in porch the most- watching the hummingbirds while drinking coffee. Screened in porch with a lakeside view is the perfect place to enjoy relaxing times outside free from bugs. The kayaks and paddle boards allow for comfortable exploring of the majestic Whitstone lake. Make dinner in the beautiful open kitchen or grill on the barbecue downstairs. And the fire pit is the perfect place for evening gatherings. A+++"

"We stayed in the winter so a little snow and temps below freezing. The heaters did an great job of keeping the cabin at 70. 1 suggestion would be to add an electric heater for the small bedroom, similar to the 1 in the larger bedroom. The loft area has a tv, so even with 4 people in the cabin it didn’t feel crowded at all. The bar is perfect to sip coffee and look watch the bumbling creek (mini river). We had a small issue with the well pump the day before thanksgiving. The owners were prompt...

"This truly felt as comfortable as our own home. Beautiful water frontage and yard, perfect for kiddos, dogs, kayaking and swimming! The furniture was all comfy, kitchen fully stocked. Not too close to neighbors, at the end of the dead end road. Really, it was a perfect getaway!"

"My husband and I absolutely loved this location. The view is spectacular and the property is immaculate. I would caution anyone traveling with older adults or very young children, there are a lot of stairs—in the house and down to the water. My father in-law claimed climbing up from the lake to the house was equivalent to climbing the Eiffel Tower. (It’s not, but you get his point.) We would stay again in a heartbeat!"

We were unable to charge our phones, and the dampness was very uncomfortable. A space heater would have done wonders to help with the cold and damp. The bed was pretty comfortable. The shower pump would not start in the morning, so we spent the next day feeling dirty. With a few tweaks this place could be improved. "

"Our family stayed during the 2024 Eclipse, and we enjoyed an amazing experience in a beautiful location! Pros: excellent location right on the lake, well-stocked kitchen with relatively sharp knives (unusual for a rental!), great communication with the local agent, easy check-in and check-out. It was actually a bigger space than it looked like in the photos online. Cons: The plumbing is a little funky - the sink and downstairs toilet gurgles when you flush the upstairs toilet.
