Our 3-day stay at the ranch house was wonderful. The property is beautiful and peaceful, providing a relaxing escape from everyday life, but it is also conveniently located. The house itself is comfortable, well-appointed, and exactly as described in the provided materials. The glowing reviews are well deserved.The owners were very responsive before and throughout our stay, promptly answering questions and making sure we had everything we needed.We are already looking forward to returning for another stay and would highly recommend this ranch house to others.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless and stocked with all the essentials we needed. The hosts provided clear instructions, were incredibly helpful, and always responded quickly. Their book of suggested places to visit was fantastic and helped us make the most of our trip. The hot tub overlooking the winery was absolutely spectacular—especially at sunset. Highly recommend!

Exactly what we wanted

This ranch house is charming and historical as well as modernized and efficient. We loved the airy rooms, the vintage decor, and the hot tub overlooking a vineyard. The location was a great starting point for exploring different corners of Sonoma: Bodega Bay, the Russian River, Santa Rosa, and nearby wineries.. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating.

Easy, Quiet Escape

The Bluebird Ranch farmhouse was a historic delight! Amazing craftsmanship, and updated furnishings are a perfect complement to the heritage of the much-loved home. Waking up in the vineyards was beautiful, and ending the day with circling hawks and other birds in the sky was perfect. The hot tub is a great place for star-gazing, since there is very little light clutter in this area. The kitchen is well-stocked (we only needed olive oil and a coffee grinder!). The host was accessible, and answered ?s quickly. We were hoping for a quiet space to celebrate our 3rd anniversary (yeah, we had a pandemic wedding), and Bluebird Ranch was a perfect venue for us. Our dog loved the space to roam, and meeting new critters on the farm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Well appointed. Spent much time hanging on the back deck and in the hot tub. Beautfiul views! Even changed the hummingbird feeder to encourage more of the hummers to come around! Bed & bathroom good. Good amount of space. Kitchen is well-equipped, and basics are availble, including spices.

The property had that lovely ‘old California farmhouse’ feel to it. Very cozy. Needed to open windows at night and close up everything during the day to stay cool, but we are used to that, coming from MT and growing up in CA. Very nice deck areas for mornings and eves.

Secluded Cottage

Very nice old cottage. Surrounded by grape vines. Very secluded tucked in the California wine country mountains. Well stocked for our week stay. Downside was there were no sidewalks and the roads are very narrow and windy so unsafe to walk but we enjoyed our time

Cozy and Comfortable

We loved our stay at the Bluebird Ranch House! Cozy, quiet, stocked with tons of towels, heaters, board games, blankets, and more, we were very comfortable! The house is tucked between vineyards - close enough to town without being in the middle of everything. We visited the coast for crab sandwiches and clam chowder, the Russian river for a sunny stroll, The Barlow and Santa Rosa for shopping, and Napa for BottleRock and did not dread the drive back to the house! Ron was readily available by messaging and phone and promptly addressed our concerns and inquiries. (We arrived to the house around 1 am). Mahalo nui loa to our lovely hosts, Ron and Marlo! We can't wait to stay here again!

Lovely Farm

We stayed here for an quick Anniversary get away and we had a really nice time, the house is so cute and loved the artsy decor. The hot tub was nice a touch too. The view in the back yard of the vineyard was really nice and the only reason why I don’t give the review five star for cleanliness, is that there is a run down looking camper on the property that was a bit of an eyesore, but other than that it was really quaint and beautiful surroundings. The owner Ron was so nice and helpful and we would stay here again if we were in Sebastopol.

The property was fabulous! The location to the towns of Occidental & Sebastopol was perfect! Very convenient to wineries & the Sonoma Ziplining Adventure was breathtaking thru the Redwoods! We enjoyed the hot tub after a great day of wine tasting & dinner at Gravenstein Grill!! The house had everything we needed for our 4-night stay. If we decided to visit again this would be our choice!! Thanks to Marlo & Ronnie for a great house to stay!!

Beautiful Stay

We were (unfortunately) in town for a funeral and wanted somewhere to retreat from the chaos that surrounds those. This was an amazing, beautiful, quiet place to unwind after dealing with unpleasantness, and we even managed to see some of the area. Our hosts were so helpful and accessible that it made everything better. Thank you for the great stay, and we will definitely be back under happier circumstances Well worth the price.
