The apartment was well furnished with anything one would ever need. Even had an x-box for the 20-something's. Although in a daylight basement, the heating system worked really well. Lots of daylight and easy patio and yard access. It was well insulated so very quiet from above.Would easily stay again!

Well kept and charming place to stay with plenty of room and privacy. Host was communicative and understanding. Location and layout of property makes it great to stay in or go out. Loved the double doors to the backyard and little patio area. Would absolutely book again!

It fit the bill

The posted photos are an accurate depiction of the unit. It is certainly large, spacious, and well-equipped. The only issue we encountered was that I had not quite understood the steepness of the stairs to access the unit. Being too older adults with a fair amount of luggage for a week-long stay, the loading and unloading certainly gave us our workout for those days. Other than that it was fine, the neighborhood is quiet and it was a bonus that it is close to my father's house.

A Real Home Away from Home

This apartment was the perfect spot for our 3-week stay in the Seattle area. The location was ideal (close to family, the lake, restaurants and stores; near a small park and a short walking trail). Inside, the apartment had everything that we needed (comfortable beds, full laundry and kitchen facilities). It was quiet and cool, and very private. Communication with Cristen was timely and always very helpful. She and her husband were wonderful hosts! We did have some issues with the Wifi going in and out, especially in the living room area. Also, upon arrival there was wet laundry in the washing machine and a pair of used cleaning gloves on the nightstand, as if we caught the cleaning person in the middle of their work. :-) Still, it felt like home away from home for us. I highly recommend this property.

Nice location and good price

The location and price were very good. However, the amenities were minimal. The kitchen was minimally stocked and there was no Kleenex, paper towels etc. The back walk out was nice, however, it would have been nice if it was swept and cleaned and ready for guest use.

Home Base Status Achieved!

Super easy in a safe neighborhood to come home to after a day in the city. Short drive to the light rail. With our family traveling quite far, this was the way to go! Much appreciated!

Great remote work setup

Nice 1 bedroom MIL unit that had everything I needed for my 1 week stay while working remotely. Pretty comfortable bed, lots of space, in-unit laundry, excellent shower, private entrance, fast wifi & dedicated parking spot. When my check-in time had to be slightly delayed because of a cleaning service scheduling issue, Cristen was kind enough to offer a bag of Caffe Ladro beans for the trouble! There were a few uninvited guests (crickets) that I had to kill that seemed to sneak in by the door occasionally, but nice stay overall.

Seattle visit

We enjoyed our stay and our host's hospitality. The apartment was convenient to visiting our daughter. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. We liked the entry lock with a code so we didn't need to keep track of a key. Kenmore has good food options, we especially recommend the Afaghan Choopan restaurant.

Excellent Stay

The property was as advertised and very clean. The kitchen was very roomy and well stocked. The owners were very responsive to the questions we had. The property is located on a very quiet street and backing a wooded area. Enjoyed the city very much and will be back

Disappointed.

The owner did state that there were stairs one had to traverse to get down to the unit. However, the photos do not show how steep the stairs were. The first, long set of stairs (20-30) did have a handrail, but there was no handrail for the final 8-10 steps. That is probably a code violation. Since we would have been coming back at night, we did not feel safe. We informed the owner that we would not be staying there, and asked that at least the cleaning fee be waived— which she agreed to.

Great place to stay

This was a very nice place very clean, spacious and the owners thought of everyone. There was something for every age group, games, movies and even toys for very little people. It had great lighting so it never felt like you were in a basement. Either the people were extremely quiet or they had good insulation between the floors because we never heard anyone. Christmas holiday getaway

Nicely tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. Only thing I was concerned about was a bit of dark mold in corner of the shower. There was cleaning fluid that we sprayed and felt comfortable showering there. My real rating is 4.5 only because of the mold in shower. It was nice to return after active days of holiday celebration.

Kenmore stay

Great time. If you want quite, this is the place. Owners live on premise. They were very responsive and bought a new toaster when the one they had didn't work. Close to Bothel which we love. I would definitely rent this place again.
