We were notified 4 days before our stay that the home was no longer available. Our dates were not flexible. We were offered another home that was not in West Seattle but in another City. 2 homes offered in West Seattle did not meet our party's criteria..1 of which was a studio for 5 people. This would have been our 2nd stay at this property and probably more in the future. Very disappointed and don't understand how our reservation could be canceled on such short notice. Will not try to use this property again.

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and cozy. We had fun playing the yard games and playing on the trampoline. The location was convenient to get to beaches and the city. The only thing we could say anything negative about was the door lock was difficult to use.Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This was a great house for the whole family! Between the trampoline, the lawn furniture, outdoor and indoor games, we were able to entertain ourselves for the duration of the stay. The rooms were great and the family room gave us space to stretch out and relax. There was a strange odor when we arrived but the owner was quick to reply and with some airing out and air freshener we were able to remove the smell.

Long weekend stay in Seattle

Our family was in town for a speed cubing competition downtown. The house met our expectations and was the perfect location to downtown. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Safe and quiet place

The description online is accurate but the place was not clean at all. The hairdryer did not work. Communication with Vacasa customer service was fast but nothing got resolved. One good point, the beds were comfortable.

21st birthday

We had a wonderful time! My girls and I celebrated my youngest’ 21st this weekend. We ate good food, went to Pike Market, some bars on Capitol Hill, played arcade games, watched the sunset on Pier 62 and lots of sight seeing. My girls are young at heart so they enjoyed the trampoline. We also enjoyed the surround sound system and stayed up way too late playing games and laughing. Thank you so much for letting us stay. The house was awesome and the living room area was perfect for hanging out. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

Rental for family wedding

This was a great rental however, its the third vacasa vacation rental we have had and the third time we couldn't get access to the property upon arrival. It is very frustrating. The vacasa person who eventually called back was super helpful but it took over an hour to enter the house and that is unacceptable.

Epic North West Adventure

This was the last stop on a 2 week trip through the Pacific North West. The house was well appointed and very clean. The games and trampoline in the backyard were a hit with our party. It's a 15 min drive to the water taxi which makes it an easy ride into Seattle. We ordered great food in one night and went out for dinner in Alki Beach the second night. Kitchen had everything we needed, including a Keurig with lots of coffee options. Beds were very comfortable, shower great and lovely backyard fur relaxing. Perfect for our family

booked with VRBO - billed VACASA

The original booking stated there was a pinball machine so we chose this property. The reviews all talked of a pinball machine. There was no pinball machine during our stay. The Vacasa people handled the lack of cleaning as well as the ants but will not address the pinball machine, other than saying it was removed because it was to hard to maintain. We just were not informed about it and I have given Vacasa plenty of time and communication to address it and they just ignore me. I booked through VRBO and was billed by VACASA - was never informed of the switch. I don't believe any of this was the fault of the owner since they rely on the management company to deal with issues and maintain the property. I just don't like the lack of resolve as well as the now no communication. I understand things may not be in the home from the original listing due to maintenance but I should have been informed prior to my stay.

Comfortable place to stay

House was as advertised. The family room was a comfortable place to gather and the trunk full of blankets was a welcome and cozy discovery when we sat down to watch a movie. Wish there was a table lamp or two in that room. Having the overhead light on all the time isn't ideal. Comforters in two of the bedrooms were sporting stains that didn't take too much brain power to imagine the source of, so that was kind of nasty... They went straight to the floor. The pinball machine was a great source of fun, but weirdly and alarming looks when you turn it on. Hah! The first time my daughter turned it on I was in the bathroom and thought someone was banging on the front door with a hammer. I appreciated the Keurig coffee machine and supply of coffee! And we made great use of the Sonos system while we were there.

West Seattle Beauty

This home was the cleanest place we have ever rented. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood with close proximity to downtown. We loved it and would rent again. Our party of 6 slept comfortably.

Great time at City Escape

My husband and I - along with our adult son - stayed at City Escape while his 2 daughters stayed with their aunt( our daughter) at her home in West Seattle. The rental worked well. It was spacious and well furnished. Only thing missing which we bought was a bar of soap!

Pre-Cruise Stay & Sites Tour of Seattle

We booked this comfy, clean property for a pre-Alaska cruise stay and it was perfect. Reasonable rates, 15min from Airport, 25min to downtown market and glass museum, 35min to cruise port. We ubered to Market then walked a few blocks to the light rail station which took us to Chuhily & Space Needle, then ubered back to home. Everything was perfect and we appreciated the very well stocked coffee counter since we didn’t have a rental car to go out. Wish we could have spent more time in the living area with large sectional, as well as time to explore the area. We arrived on a quite hot day and it would have been helpful to have the mini splits on and turned down a bit more prior to guest arrival as it took quite awhile to cool down. The bonus :-) we were very happy to learn the home was owned by a fellow firefighter family!! <3
