Great location, we loved the charm of the older building. Within walking distance of so much! Darcy was very prompt and helpful.

Great location. Close to the train, sports complex and restaraunts. The bed has to go. Extremely uncomfortable.

Everything was good definitely come back for the walkability to sports parks and markets. Bar staff were great!! Drink specials were great and Jose was awesome!! Could use a newer more comfortable bed and some place to house open luggage, as well as more coffee supplies for longer stays. Darcy was accommodating and would return again.

Understanding you are entering a 1890’s building where nothing is perfect however it is ideally as close to original to experience SEATTLE LIFE in the late 1890’s ; with essential modern updates of a full bath, washer and dryer, kitchenette and a queen size bed. Comfortable and cozy on a downtown street walkable to everything including the waterfront and with a Pioneer Park Square view. Great VRBO.

Loved the room and where it was located in the city. Comfortable space and very clean.Was a little tight for getting ready to go out, would be very convenient to have a mirror on the wall. A little pricey but overall, the stay was nice.

The apt was perfect for a one night stay in Seattle to catch a train to Vancouver, BC for cruising on DCL Magic. Location was ideal for an afternoon of sightseeing and close to Amtrak station. Bonus was the historical significance of the building the apartment is in. Darcy is a great host. Check out the history of Merchants Cafe in Seattle!

Very cute room and the folks down at Merchants bar were super helpful and friendly. The street right outside was a little loud which made sleeping a challenge, but it's not a very busy street.

Easy check in/out! Perfect location to walk to stadiums or Pike Street Market. Darcy's places are always a great stay. The discount at Merchant's is an added bonus. Our favorite place to stay when we visit Seattle!

The apartment is a mix of some newer work and the vibe of a really old building, which is cool. The building goes back to around 1900 and they left a few things to show this. The neighborhood from the Apartment to Downtown is nice and upcoming some areas around the building were a little sketchy. I did not have a car, so parking wasn't on my mind. Location is about midway to the stadiums and the Waterfront and reachable in about 10 minutes by foot. There is a full kitchen and a washer/dryer in the unit. There are a lot of stairs to get from the street to the unit. it's close to the light rail and buses. I would recommend this unit unless you have difficulty with stairs.

Really cool historic building in a lively area. Two blocks to the sound and tons of food and bars nearby. The unit is above a bar so it can be a bit noisy but I had no issues sleeping through the night. Price, location and character can’t be beat!

Nice , cozy space for 1 or 2 people. Close to restaurants and a neighborhood market around the corner. Had a little delay at check-in, but things were fine after that. Can get a little noisy late at night for a light sleeper - I was there over the weekend...

Such a convenient location! We could get anywhere we wanted with a quick walk to the light rail, and water front is basically a hop away. Other reviews have mentioned the noise level, and on Friday night it was super loud outside—but it was a game night and a weekend. The other nights were pretty standard city sounds. Check events nearby and bring earplugs if you need. Location definitely made any bad sleep worth it.

Room was exactly as described. It was bigger, I think, than what is shown in the pictures. The host replied quickly. It can get very noisy at night due to the cars revving in the car park across the street and the proximity to the bars. It stops about 3am-ish. If the noise will bother you, make sure to bring ear plugs. There is no elevator and very long flight of stairs up. I was prepared from other reviews so it did not bother me too much. I would stay here again.
