Positives: the bed and bathroom were clean (and smelled like bleach), though there was used tissue paper in the toilet. The kitchenette and washing machines are convenient, though there was no laundry detergent. The decor and furnishings are cute though cheap. The neighborhood is nice, with several restaurants, bars and grocery stores within walking distance.
Negatives: the doors don't close on their own, so you have to hold the door shut and either lock it manually or hold it until it locks automatically. Also the doors don't seal well so you can hear people talking, dragging their luggage up and down the stairs, etc. The TV was faulty. Sometimes the sound was horribly distorted, once it was at max volume and couldn't be turned down, and once it shut itself off. There was a smart speaker in the room but we couldn't get it to work. The "business center" had no computers, just two monitors connected to nothing. The AC in the common area was uncomfortably cold until somebody fiddled with it, and then it was uncomfortably warm. The rooms themselves have no heating or cooling, just an exhaust fan. The buidling is next to a high school, so if your windows are open, you can hear sports until fairly late. The shower curtain liner was hazy with mineral deposits (easily removed with vinegar or the washing machine.) Lastly, there was no way to get extra towels. We had to share the one towel for three days.
