The house was terrible but seaside was great. The house is old, ant issue in kitchen, mold in bathroom, not enough linens, house smells. Furniture looks dirty. Wouldn’t sit on couches.

The home was beautiful and close walk to the beach. We didn't know it was 3 floors. So main floor had full bathroom with a bedroom and upstairs was 1/2 bath with 2 bedroom and basement had a full bathroom with a nice setup.

Overall it was good “bang for buck”. Size of property was great. Decor is dated, howler that is obvious from listing and exactly what expected. Overall, pretty close to the beach and a short walk into the main part of town.

Was nice; we almost decided to rent next year, but price went up markedly. It was perfect for us! We have been renting in Seaside in the summers for 8 years. Every year there is a minor issue such as not enough spoons. This year there were 3 washcloths for the 7 of us. I guess the worst was the year I did not look at the description carefully and we had to to the laundromat! I love being by the ocean and it was lovely to wake up to the roar of the ocean and the seagulls. We watched juvenile seagulls grow -- we were hoping we would see them fly away before we left, alas.... This is a good location: close to the beach and the downtown.

Narrow stairs up and down, musty lower level, heavy dust levels under furniture, dirty and dead bugs/dirt on every window sill, leaking toilet and sink that drains slowly: none of these items are acceptable to us. Only good part was location and size of main living areas. Won’t be coming back.

Perfectly roomy, 3 floor, 3+ bedrooms w/2 and 1/2 bath, front and back outdoor space. Super quick walk to Prom and beach. Tiny bar-b for a three bedroom!

The location was excellent for walking to beach and main strip. The neighborhood was quiet. House is old which is fine but was a little dirty and furniture was rundown. Our 3 year old grand child slept on a broken daybed, thankfully he didn't mind it was lopsided. There was no bedding for the futon downstairs so we had to purchase some. All other bedding was old, comforters were thin and faded; uncertain if bedding was clean as there was a long hair in my bed. I ended up washing it so thankful for the washer/dryer. I do recommend, would stay there again as a family but expect college apartment furnishings.

Did not have to drive anywhere, location is perfect! Maybe a new house cleaning company would benefit the owners as well as replacing the futon downstairs and we didn't have access to downstairs TV as it needed a pin #... but other than that our family made great memories at Jim's house!

The whole family enjoyed our stay at Jim's House. The house is deceptively big. Plenty of space for hanging out, Loved being just blocks from beach access and the Promenade. Easy access to downtown attractions. I really love older homes with built in cabinetry, the kitchen was a real joy, space for all while dining and play games at night. Jim's house has great charm, would recommend a stay here , as well as a return stay for our family, in the future. Thanks for a great place to unwind.

Great family stay. Older, but cute home...that was just right for my family. Large comfortable living area(s), and great quiet location (just a block from the quiet end of the beach. Would definitely recommend.

I once lived two blocks from this house and needed a place to organize my old belongings. Check in worked well but smell of house smelled of my old house I lived at when I first moved in. I lived in both Astoria and Seaside for 7years and I know what that smell is and was attempted to be covered. There were dirty plates in the dishwasher and wet towels stinking up the washer. I found a glittered fingernail upon entering the bathroom and there was hair all over the downstairs bed. I slept on the couch covered in my own sheets. I appreciate the stay but I also left a 400 dollar ring there and since its been over a week since my stay i know its gone. I won't be using anything associated with this rental agency again.

As promised, a great location and a relaxing couple of days is exactly what my family needed. The house was charming and perfect for what we needed; WiFi included so we could finish out some online schooling, and then enjoy the beach! Property manager was prompt replacing the coffee maker (wonder where the missing carafe went?), and we had no issues whatsoever! Would happily book this place again!

We were very surprised how close the house actually was to the beach. It was really nice as we weren't in the crowded beach area of the boardwalk and hotels. While the house was clean I would like to just remind you to make sure to check between the cushions and under the furniture. We had to move the couch in the lower bedroom and found some socks in the cushions and some Legos under the couch.

Our whole family of 5 adults, 2 children, and a dog stayed here for 5 days and we loved it. It's a charming older home with everything you need (except the grill-too small for us-LOL) and walking distance to everything. Less than a block to the promenade so great for spending all day at the beach. It was very warm and sunny our entire stay so we appreciated that there were fans and AC in the upstairs. It was great being able to spread out on 3 levels so everyone had their own space. Very roomy and again, older home but comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. We all loved it!
