I would give it a 3.5 if that was available. The house was surface clean and in a good location. It was close to the beach, good restaurants, the golf course and the promenade. However, the white doors were grimy with hand prints, under the couch was a thick layer of dust, hair, and food droppings. In the primary bath, on top of the floor mat was the previous guest's deodorant lid showing that that rug hadn't been shaken out or vacuumed. There is a note stating that the house doesn't have air-conditioning so to open windows, however there is only 1 screened window downstairs so opening windows isn't ideal. Finally, only half of the kitchen outlets worked.In addition, it was under-stocked. Two beach towels for a house that sleeps 8, no laundry soap or dryer sheets, only a few packets of dishwasher soap, no small glasses other than kid plastic cups, three teaspoons, kitchen cooking utensils that appeared to be hand me downs from great grandma's kitchen. The king size bed in the primary had a king duvet cover, but the filler inside was only queen size leaving one side with no blanket. Yes there were extra blankets in the closet, but just do it right in the first place.We made things work and my family enjoyed the stay. We loved having the Bob stroller, sand toys, and the location. However at the price point, we expected it to be spotless and well stocked.

Excellent house in an incredible location

The house was great, check in/out was super easy, and the location is incredible. Being across the street from a market as well as a restaurant with great drinks and Mexican food is the most convenient thing ever.

Annual family vaycay

This is our second year in a row at this location. Property was clean and comfortable. Location to the beach was fantastic, although there were several nights in our week stay that we were awakened or kept awake by noisy and disruptive neighbors. Not the fault of the property owners at all, just something to be aware of.

Perfect location, lots of room, good amenities

This location is perfect - market, restaurants, and beach are right down the street. The weather on our trip was downpour and windy but because of the location we were able to catch openings to make to the beach to fly kites. The hot tub was ready to use. Will be back to enjoy riding the bikes to town.

Nice place very close to the beach

We came with family and the house was spacious enough for us. It has two living rooms which is nice when you have children. Unlike other places there actually is enough dishes for everyone and plenty of pots and pans to cook with. They truly made it family friendly. The hot tub and BBQ were clean and in good condition. You can tell they care about your experience because the manager is quick to respond and made sure we got in okay and that the house was clean and to our liking. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and say we will be back.

Seaside house

This is a very comfortable, inviting house located quite close to the beach. They have many books and games for children, and a user-friendly kitchen. Very nice place. Hope to visit it again soon.

Family Friendly Beach House - Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this family friendly beach house in a great location, close to the beach. The house was clean, but not super well kept up. Had the online photos reflected this, we probably would have stayed elsewhere for the price. Overall we had a great stay though. We loved the hot tub, the sand toys for the kids and you can’t beat the location, super close to beach and the boardwalk.

Beach time

Had a great time with out-of-town family! Perfect beach weather even with the fog. Nice, quiet end of town. Convenient small grocery and restaurants across the street. A few small maintenance items… upstairs master bath left sink drains slowly, kitchen faucet handle is very loose and 1 barstool seat comes apart. The house was very accommodating for the 8 of us.

Functional and convenient

This was our second stay in this house with the first being in the summer of 2020. Ours was a big group (6 adults and 2 kids), and we were able to stay there fairly comfortably. All of the basic amenities were provided, so we didn't have to worry about anything. The highlight of the house is its location - it's a few blocks from the Ocean, so it was very convenient for us to go to the beach. The sheets on the master bedroom's bed had a few spots on it which we were able to cover up with other fresh sheets, but that was the only issue we had in terms of cleanliness.

South seaside

Neighborhood is nice and laid back. Convenient location with a few good restaurants and seaside market across the street. Beach is just a short few blocks. Our stay was very nice, there were a few things we tried calling to report but our connection was lost. Called back the next day requesting an email I could report to and was sent and incomplete email. Called a third time and finally verbally sent our concerns like sand in the jacuzzi when we arrived and a couple broken window screens on top floor. Management needs better service especially when people are paying what they pay. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay.

Seaside beach house

Nice house 3 blocks from beach. Carpets were vacuumed, but many had deep stains. outside hose bib broke and front door jammed closed during stay, Marlo from Vacasa came out promptly and fixed there issues. Dryer vent needs cleaning and carpets need professionl cleaning.

Poor interior, good location

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend staying here. We had high hopes for this house, but it fell far short. Pros include close to beach, quiet/pretty neighborhood, nice backyard, near the promenade and a few restaurants, and has a nice layout of bedrooms upstairs. The cons are far greater. The house is in desperate need of updates. Although the pictures present a nice home, that is relatively up to date, things are deteriorating. The carpet is gross- worn down, BIG stains everywhere, and smells horrible. The paint is chipping, stained, and worn. The furniture is also stained, smells bad, and is generally uninviting. The downstairs kitchen/family room has a bad musty/dog(?) odor like one that can't be cleaned even with cleaning. The hot tub was not properly cleaned and our three kids got horrible "hot tub folliculitis" rashes - eww! The upstairs guest bathroom smelled moldy. All of this said, what we had hoped would be a relaxing, cozy (with cooler weather) vacation wound up feeling like a house that we were trying to avoid and couldn't relax in. I think if a very thorough cleaning and/or remodel of carpet, paint and furniture occurred, it would be a nice place to stay in.
