LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! A golf course with the mountain backdrop is the "backyard" and the beach is the "front yard", pretty literally. Outside of the location (which is pretty near perfect), the welcoming and whimsicle home made our stay in Seaside wonderful. We stayed only one night but wish it had been longer. My favorite part of the home was the kitchen, master bath, and spacious living room upstairs with all the views. The home smelled and was squeaky clean when we arrived. The host was so gracious and helpful and responsive when (through no fault of theirs), I was unable to find the access instructions. My favorite part of our stay (which wouldn't have happened had the beach not been as close) was collecting sand dollars on the beach and watching the sunset then walking back to the home filled with peace. Thank you, hosts!

The skylight in the master leaked onto the bed during an overnight storm. The hot water stopped running after 8 inches in the big tub.It was very frustrated not having the code to the door when we arrived in the rain. It is a funky house that had enough space for us all, but I didn't appreciate having to take the garbage can to the curb and having to strip the beds. We found a camera on the mantle that someone else left there. Obviously, no one had dusted the mantle befor we came.

Amazing house and value. Views were gorgeous. House is beautiful and comfortable. Great parking space for our large vehicle. Beach access is literally across the street. Feels like a real, peaceful neighborhood, not a thousand rentals crammed together. A thousand stars.

House was not very clean. Dog hair and bugs everywhere. Rugs were dirty when arrived etc. I wouldn’t stay here again but on the positive side, it was a great location and a large space. Easy access to beach.

Great location. Way over priced. This thing needs a hot tub. Weird check in. Get code day of stay. Strange. Host was available and very responsive. This house sleeps 6 not 10 unless you have tiny kids that want to sleep in the weird alcove or livingroom couch. We have paid WAY less for much better properties.

Great location, could use some upkeep

Location was amazing, on the sand in 2 minutes. There was ample seating and beds throughout the home and an effort was definitely made to provide most accommodations you could need. The decor is really nice and the bathrooms are quite spacious but don’t have doors between the bedroom and bathroom. The main bedroom door doesn’t latch so privacy is an issue. Communication with the property manager was easy and they had very quick responses. The kitchen is stocked with all utensils, pots, pans and dishes you’ll ever need. However, this is where things started lacking for us. The pots and pans were so badly damaged with the teflon lining flaking off into our food so we had to buy a pan to cook with while there. Other cookware was dirty when we pulled it out of the cupboards and had to clean it before we could use it. The countertops in the kitchen were in bad shape as pieces were broken off and would come loose throughout our stay. The stovetop is sinking into the counter on one side so everything slides in the pans toward the sunken spot. So while the kitchen is very stocked, the lack of cleanliness and unusable items made it a little less enjoyable to cook our meals there. At this price point, I was expecting it to be a little more updated/maintained especially in the kitchen. The only other possible downside is this property is not accessible for anyone who cannot do stairs as you have about 13 to climb to get into the kitchen and main living room.

Lovely Seaside Adventure!

Our family enjoyed everything about the home, it’s location and the overall community/closeness to nature. We spent a lot of time in Ecola State Park hiking and we’re close enough to Cannon Beach to enjoy all it had to offer, too. Highly recommend this home and the area!

Everything was beautiful; great decor, comfy beds, well equiped kitchen, cute neighborhood, and a lovely seaside. Would definitely stay here if we ever visit Oregon again.

Excellent location!

This home suited us perfectly. We traveled with our daughter and her boyfriend to meet our son (traveling via Van Life with his dog) for his 25th birthday. We loved the set up of this home, it is very well appointed with plenty of dishes, pots & pans, towels, etc. Bedding was comfortable and clean. Loved walking across the street to the beach to beach comb and let our dog play. Walked downtown to eat and shop. A quick drive to Cannon Beach to check out Haystack Rock and shop. Easy drive and short hike to get to Short Sands Beach to surf. Everyone in the community were very friendly and helpful in suggestions of things to do or places to go. We will definitely stay here again if we head back out to OR.

Beach Home Sweet Home

Our family of four (10 & 16 yr old boys) and dog had plenty of space in this colorful, convenient retreat. We loved the proximity to the Seaside Promenade and Canon Beach, but the easy access to the beach across the street was the best! Grilling on the two rear balconies overlooking the Seaside Golf Course was relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking and entertaining dishes & utensils a family needs. There was easily space to bring friends or another family. We will definitely be back!

First I want to say the property was so beautiful. Great location and incredible home. The owners let us check in early which was a godsend. When we got there the house was very cold. It was a raining cold day and night. Come to find out none of the in wall heaters worked. There was portable heaters through the house that we had to use but not disclosed to us when reserving the place. There was a fireplace but could only use one deraflame log at a time so not a lot of heat. One of the major issues if you use a space hearted in more then one room the breakers kept flipping. The space heater for our room was broken. I texted at 3:40pm about the heating issue and finally had a new portable heater show up after 8:30pm. That was after the 2 smaller children were in bed. There was one extra blanket in the house and I had to ask the gal that dropped off the heater for an extra blanket. I texted after that it was unexceptionable to have no heat in a house and run portable heaters all night especially when there is small children here. I don’t even know if that’s safe. The next day after we left @ 12:33 this was the response I received: “I’m sorry it didn’t work out. The heating system failed a little over a month ago and we are on a 3 month waiting list to get it replaced (sadly parts are not easily available). The backup heaters have been working ok since it went down but it sounds like it was a struggle last night for your group and I’m really sorry about that.” So he knew this before I reserved the house and didn’t bother to let us know or even give us a chance to find another place.

Great location, beautiful house

The house has a very relaxing feel to it with a lot of windows looking out to nice views and it is in an excellent location. The kitchen was well-equipped. I think the cleaning company needs to up their game a bit. While it wasn’t terrible, there was a trash can not emptied (my dog brought me a dirty diaper from it), the tub had residue that was not cleaned (looked okay visually but was scummy to the touch so I cleaned it prior to use) and the sheets were a little sandy (not sure how that happens if they’ve been laundered). Overall I would stay again but would hope the cleaners will take this as constructive feedback and improve.

Absolutely wonderful

We celebrated our mother’s birthday and it was a wonderful weekend for her and the entire family. The home is in the perfect location, in a cute, quiet neighborhood, very close to the beach. The home is very cozy, with well equipped kitchen, large living rooms and bedrooms. . We all had a great time.
