Overall nice condo and location but VACASA MGT SUCKS

This is not owner managed. VACASA manages and they suck. They don’t know the property. The customer service contacts are somewhere far away and have to read a database that clearly has bad and information in it conflicting with listing or missing information. Dealing with Vacasa is aweful and I will NOT deal with any property managed by them anymore. They are too far from the property. Have to send messages to “local” staff to handle anything and response time for “local” staff is like 6 hours. They didn’t provide the most basic information on where and how to use the laundry room or the trash dumpster. They told me I didn’t have laundry but it was in the listing and we later found a handwritten note with both laundry and trash door codes. SMH. The couch needs to be cleaned. Food crumbs all in between cushions. Couch is worn down. Floors need to be properly vacuumed to remove sand all the way around the rooms.

Dirty Stay

The property is nice, the condo is spacious and decorated cute. The cleanliness was the issue for me. I have 3 kids, 1 is a toddler who was running around touching everything! As I started to unpack i could see the dust and grime, started opening up cabinets, dirty with food, sand, dust, didnt look like the shelves had been wiped in months. There was spilled coffee spots on the inside of the cabinets. Dust on the surfaces in living room, my toddler moved the little table in the living room, tons of visible diet and garbage on the little carpet. The towels had food and makeup on them. Food was smeared on the front of the oven. That night after we went to the beach, my toddler took a bath, afterwards was running around the hard floor. His feet were another shade of nasty! The floors hadnt been mopped in idk how long. I could keep going on. Vacasa was notified from the start. I had enough and had requested a compensation. After 2 days of waiting and being persistent they finally approved to waive the cleaning fee.

Good location for Seaside Beach and town

easy location, clean 2 bedroom, 1 bath. Difficulty with poor lock system required 20 mins w customer service both to access property and checkout to leave keys.

Great place

The location was great. We had everything we needed. I would have given 5 stars, but couldn’t due to the checkout time. It was 10am with no flexibility. It is a small space so couldn’t possibly take that long to clean. It was inconvenient that checkout was so early. We were in town for a basketball tournament. We had an early Sunday game and had to pack up and check out prior to our game.

CONS: Ants in the kitchen Only one dish towel No Kleenex Door lock requires 3 hands: 1 to hold your phone because the code is 10 digits that you can’t remember 1 to punch in the code then turn the lock 1 to turn the doorknob at the same time 10:00 am checkout at least an hour earlier than most PROS: Clean and spacious Close to Beach Close to activities appreciated all the texts from Vacasa

Great Pet Rental

Great location. Walking distance to everywhere. Easy parking. It was clean, especially for a pet rental. The carpet looks stained but felt clean. Beware of the carpet strip going into the living room if you are a diabetic or have neuropathy. The carpet is worn and the nails poke through.

Stay at the Condo

The property was very nice and great location. We were able to walk to most everything we wanted to see in Seaside. The Condo was clean with just a couple of stains in the carpet that did not look great. I was more than we needed since we did not cook any meals in the condo. We loved it and would rent it again. Clean with great location

This condo was super cute and clean! Right on the river and only 2 blocks from the beach. We had great parking with easy access. The decor inside is beachy and cute. Our beds were very comfortable and there’s plenty of seating in the large couch! Would definitely stay here again.

Beach break

We relaxed and walked around the area. The beach is a close walk along with the stores. A quiet area, very nice place to stay. The code lock was a difficult one, there was some problems with it. I contacted them to check it, that was the only issue with the stay. I recognize this place to stay.

It looked clean, but I guess the cleaner just checked that looked clean from the previous guest. Floors were sticky and kitchen had a strong egg smell, bathroom had a musty moldy smell, we cleaned the kitchen with lemons and washed the curtain, still needs a good cleaning. Other than that it’s a great place. The view from the living room is wonderful, not stingy with towels and toilet tissue, plenty utensils for cooking, but no blender. Microwave handle was broken and “glued” with some scotch tape. Pretty much everything for a nice stay! You won’t do wrong booking this place.

Wow!

Wow! was I surprised when we entered the condo. Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the condo. It was advertised as pet friendly. A definite negative for me. I was between a rock and a hard place, so went ahead and booked it any way. No indication that pets had ever been there. Loved the location. Within walking distance to the beach, the promenade, restaurants, breweries, etc, and quiet. Nice folks that live there and were guest in the other units. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Only thing I'd do different would be to clean the track in the sliding glass door. The one closet door was off the track but didn't interfere with our stay. Thinking it would be nice to own a unit there.
