Not like the pictures at all. Beds horrific on the verge of collapsing. Walls paper thin. Property not in good condition. Room dirty. Everything cheap quality top to bottom

This place is close to the beach and not far from the boardwalk hang out areas. The hotel was a disaster. First when I arrived there was no one at the front desk and I was calling the number at the desk and door but no one picked up for over an hour. He apologized and seemed genuinely sorry that he didn’t have his phone with him when I called. He showed me to the room which seemed nice for the price but I did not check it very good before I left to the boardwalk. When I got back there were a lot of things wrong with this place. First the TV didn’t work apparently from a storm a few days before but I don’t know how true that was because I didn’t want to touch the remote because it was disgusting with oil and hair on it. Then there were bugs throughout the entire room. Flys attacking at every chance they got. Then there was plumbing issues and they had to have plumbers come to “fix” the toilet and shower because they kept backing up into each other. After the plumber left my family went out for dinner and came back. There were more bugs in the room. More flies and everything. We were trying to not let it bother but it became too much. My family was gonna try to sleep but when we pulled the sheets off the bed there were yellow water stains on the sheets. My family packed up and we left that same night. The front desk guy offered another room but we had enough. We never stayed a single night. This place is disgusting and although close to the beach the money wasn’t worth a penny.

Convenient is not always best!

The person running the motel was nice and very accommodating however, it was not at all worth the price. The room was spacious. My intention was to bring my puppy down with me and this is one of the few places that is pet friendly but I’m glad we didn’t I would’ve not felt comfortable. We did not feel safe while staying there. I booked the room for 2 nights and checked out the 2night night drive all the way back home. The bathroom was missing a ceiling tile and it looks like they painted of the tub instead of refinishing it and it was peeling. I took a shower in flip flops. In the hallway it looked like people were trying to break into the rooms there were wood chips all over the floor in the room next to us. I feel bad leaving this review, the motel has potential but I would not stay there with my family again. I would stay in a hotel in Toms River or point pleasant!

The pictures of the hotel do not tell the story. When I tried to check in there was a sign on the door to call Econ o lodge. The best thing about the experience was the staff (Marwan). Sea Breeze was dark and dusty, one light fixture in the room, and the sink was stopped up, this is just the check in. However, Marwan was pleasant and understanding and arranged to get me booked into Days Inn approximately 2 blocks away. I believe if Expedia is going to act as booking agents for hotels it would benefit them to make spot check of the hotel facilities.

Had to check in at the hotel across the street, where they tried to hand me towels to take with me. The towels were full of hair. When i finally got in the room it was small and already filled with sand. There were holes in the walls. The wifi didnt show up as an option. There was no remote for the tv. Only plus was the walk to the boardwalk was super close.

No Receptionist

I called prior to going and said I will be checking in at 11 pm due to inclamate weather up North. When I arrived there at 11:15 pm the check in office was closed, no receptionist, and no one picked up the phone. Therefore, I had to pay for another hotel which was very expensive being that it was 4th of July. I would not recommend this place at all.

Hotel Charlee

*Front desk staff was friendly and relatively responsive. *Address on the reservation is incorrect and confusing for checking in *The TV/Direct TV didn't work. The staff had to change out 3 converters to get it to finally work. The young man who worked on getting it correct was initially prompt and helpful. On the 2nd day it stopped working again. I told the manager at the front desk who said he would send someone over. No one came by. At check out the manager said they were too busy. * The free breakfast should be listed as a limited continental breakfast * We went to CVS to get wipes to clean off the refrigerator's door, tables and lamps * On the side of the building there are exposed wires!!! * The air conditioner was held in place in the wall by white duct tape

Served its purpose, but not recommended

Like my title states, we showered and slept there, would not recommend doing anything else at this location. There was no trash can and found trash on the floor from previous guest. Toilet seat was falling off the commode, and the television did not work. Was informed of the free continental breakfast in the am. When I checked out at about 8 it was empty. Do not recommend this location.

Never stay here!

Horrible! Checked out a day early, never got my refund for the night we didn't stay! Rip off the Americans in their own country, they are laughing at me.
