"A cute little cottage that was clean and convenient. It was a little over a half an hour drive to Acadia, and about ten minutes into downtown Ellsworth. My kids appreciated having their own bed. The host was quick to reply to messages, and check in/out was very easy. It isn’t a luxury cottage, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The photos are very accurate. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a good hairdryer, and a 3-1 body wash. Bring your own shampoo, or it was cheap to purchase...

"We could not have been happier with our recent 3-day stay at the HomePort Inn in Searsport, Maine. We knew that this was a good location for what we wanted to do... Exploratory trips to places like Camden and Castine. But what we were not prepared for, especially for the price quoted, was the luxury of the rooms and the high quality of the entire facility. "Beautiful inn and nice breakfast. Very helpful and hospitable hosts. Keep in mind that the bed in room 7 is quite small for a couple. The amenities, soaps and shampoos were tiny and not good quality. If those were upgraded, I would have given it a 5 star."
