Our room,the Emerald room, had a separate door that took us right out to the rear veranda where we ate breakfast, had picnic lunches, and beverages at night. "We planned an Aug '26 trip to Maine months in advance from Florida. Expedia or the rental Mgr requires a credit card to hold the room. Our schedule changed in May '26, so I cancelled the room. On Friday evening 8/7, we get a call from the Mgr wondering where we are. We relayed that we canceled the booking months ago. We were still charged for the nights' stay. This is a fraudulent charge & no way to run a business. Be careful if you have to use your cc to hold a room, then have to cancel."

"This is a quaint almost like a boarding house but very VERY far from Acadia. The hour plus drive was torture on really bad roads and locals doing 85 on 45 roads with twists and curves. Really tough at night and coming back from the park. Do not book if you want proximity to Bar Harbor. The breakfast is overpriced and the serving staff overwhelmed. There are no options and the nearest place to get food is miles away. They offer pizza on Monday for $35 which is ridiculous. There is no fridge or...

"It is a very confortable hotel with very nice and spacious room with view tothe harbour. It is very convenient for families sice there are swimmingpool and two playgrounds. The only disappointment was the breakfast: nothing was fresh made but everything in packages. By the way, we spent two pleasant days in the hotel."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Steamboat Wharf cabins. The place was adorable, cozy, clean and perfectly set up for a couple, with homey touches including basic kitchenette supplies, coffee, tea, creamer, dish ware, utensils and even a water filter pitcher. Tyler was a gracious host who was friendly and easy to communicate with; he and his family live on the property, and we were pleasantly surprised when he greeted us upon our arrival. "The cabin was cozy and clean, providing just what we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was fantastic; I had an issue receiving his messages, but it was resolved during our visit. The location is convenient, just a 40-minute drive to and from Bangor Airport and a little over an hour's drive to Acadia National Park. I highly recommend this cabin."
