Beautiful location and views, not suitable for everyone
We loved many things about our stay, but some things need to be noted given the premium price:
1. The showers have a hose, you need to hold with your hand, so showing is difficult. With that, one of the showers only produced cold water so for 6 people we were a little confined. I saw many comments years ago about this very issue, shame they haven’t installed shower heads as that’s a cheap fix.
2. The property is near a bush and we did see mice and many creatures running through the kitchen even though we ensured all areas were closed.
3. There are no screens in the main house so you can’t let a breeze through due to mosquitos. It was very hot
4. You can’t actually secure the property. The front gate doesn’t lock so anyone can walk in. We didn’t feel super safe
5. We had young children and the property isn’t really suitable for them due to the rooms being seperate from the house.
6. One of the three rooms didn’t have a mosquito net - we battled them most nights.
7. Freezer is under the house so any ice we had to keep going underneath which was odd.
8. Tv was small compared to space, wasn’t comfortable for six people to watch a movie.
The house has the most beautiful views which were breathtaking and nice to come home to. This type of property would definitely could suit some groups who don’t mind basic living. They provided lovely soaps, a coffee machine and all stand up boards and umbrellas which were very useful.
I think for the price though, we did expect a bit more :)
