Trip to Newport, Oregon

A good place to stay for our group ages 6 to 74. Plenty of room and fun on the beach with kites and tide pools, but also lots to do in Newport and the area.

Spring Break Trip

We had a lovely time at this property. The access to the beach was easy. The rooms were spacious. The host was helpful. This location is a nice upgrade to a beach trip with easy access to many local activities.

House was clean but check in process was difficult as there is no cell service at the house and hot tub key was not at the property so they sent someone over to unlock it. Beds in master and downstairs bedrooms are extremely hard and uncomfortable but the other three beds all had mattress toppers on and were comfortable. Not enough furniture in living room to accommodate a group of 12 to all watch tv together as there is only seating for 7 at most. Beach access is tricky and downhill on a narrow trail. Huge dining room table that accommodated all of us so we could eat together. Bonus room over garage is cold and there was not no heater to be found.

Big house for a family gathering

It’s hard to find a house that has five separate bedrooms. We have four adult children and ourselves to accommodate, so it was nice that everyone had their own space. All the rooms were very spacious. Great kitchen and large dining room to accommodate us all. Awesome view of the ocean.

Wonderful views

We went for my mother’s 50th birthday and had a wonderful time. The house is very large and spacious. The views are beautiful and we had a great time. The house does need some paint on some baseboards in the bathrooms but otherwise it is clean and very nice. We loved the space and are hoping to come back in a few years for my brother-in-laws 40th.

Family reconnect

Fantastic views and beautiful house! Plenty of room to spread out or come together for a meal at the large dinning table. My parents have limited mobility and chronic pain, so they weren't able to make the path to the beach or get comfortable on the couches. However everything else was sheer perfection. I would definitely book this house again!

70th Birthday

Beautiful home, spacious rooms. The wooded path to the ocean was pretty but not really walkable for us older people as it was very narrow and lots of tree roots to step over. There is a public beach access just a short way south of the house. The views from the upper bedrooms are stunning. We loved the house and surrounding area

Nice & Cozy

This house was the perfect size, and had everything we needed for our family gathering at the coast! The house just needs some TLC, the dishwasher was leaking, the drain in the master was draining really slow, and one of the sofa beds was broke when we tried to use it. We did let the rental company know and it did not ruin our stay. The path down to the beach was more of a jaunt than we thought it would be from the photos. We really enjoyed our time though and would stay here again!

Perfect for family reunion

This house is well appointed with dining-ware, cooking items, towels etc. The hot tub is exceptional! The BBQ worked well, and the game room was well used. We loved the access to the beach, a journey to the beach everyday through a fern lined path. Lovely! We had 3 other houses on the beach and would meet all for a beach walk daily. Nice Location

The home was large and fit our needs for space and bed size very well. It is a little dated and could use some TLC but overall satisfied all our needs and had a nice view of the ocean. Cleanliness could definitely be better. The check in was seamless and they gave us an early check in which was nice. We liked the house and the hot tub was great but for the price I think they need to do some upgrades and the cleaning company needs to be addressed.

Nice trip to the ocean

There were so many good things about this property, and we are planning to come back. A couple of things people might be interested in, that the path to the ocean was somewhat difficult in places, the fact that 3 bedrooms shared a very small bathroom, that there were almost no usable chairs to use outdoors. But, as noted in the above ratings, lots of positives.

Beautiful Views

My daughter wanted to stay somewhere we could see the ocean and this place delivered that view. Things that would've made the stay better, directions on how to operate the TV. I was also surprised that there were no staples in the kitchen. I guess I have gotten used to having salt, pepper, sugar and coffee already stocked. The trail down to the ocean was really neat, but if you aren't stable on your feet it isn't a good trail. On the plus the house is very close to a public beach that had easier access.

Family reunion

This home was amazing. We had everything that we needed to make some wonderful memories. Easy walk to the beach, large bedrooms, very accomodating dining room and complete kitchen. The only drawback was a broken dishwasher. We contacted the manager immediately but they were unable to make the arrangements for a replacement during our week. However, we would book this home again in a heartbeat.
