My family and I have been staying at this home for several years and love it. It's always clean and maintained, on a great street in a great area. It has everything we need with a wonderful view and outdoor space. We will be back!

The house was perfect for our stay. My wife and I brought our fishing kayaks for the trip but ended up fishing from the dock for most of our stay. The barn area is excellent for relaxing in the evening. We could not have asked for a better stay.

We had the best time. We were able to easily launch our boat from the boat launch in the neighborhood and get into the bay, reefs, shallows quickly. Great location. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and the barn decorations were adorable and a great place to hang out with family and friends. The view of the bay from the deck was perfect. We had a great time!

Awesome Place

Wonderful home for a cozy getaway.

This home is very cute and came equipped with everything we could have possibly needed during our weekend stay. It was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our party of 6 adults plus guests that visited during the day. The private pier was great but definitely needs some minor repairs which the owner is aware of and working on. Loved the barn for evening hang outs!

Property was nice but description of property needs to be updated. There are boards missing on the fishing pier, which makes it a hazard, especially if you have kiddos. Pier is a little wobbly, and only one of lights on pier worked first night, the remainder of stay (2nights) lights didn’t work at all. The described docking area for the boat is no longer there, so had to pull boat in each time. One trash bin was completely full upon arrival, leaving us with little to no room to dispose of our trash. Mice living in the barn so there was mouse poop on things in the barn. We had stayed several years ago and the place was awesome but seems like it hasn’t been kept up as well, so a little disappointed to say the least. On the upside the beds in house are amazingly comfy and the view of bay is spectacular!!

Another fantastic stay at Pelicasa

This will be the 5th or 6th year in a row that my buddies and I stayed at Pelicasa. We head down every fall to do a blast & cast and can’t say enough good things about this property. Russel and Denise are the best hosts and the property has more charm and character than any other spot we have rented in the past. We can’t wait to get back down in December !!

Perfect getaway

Very nice place. Barn is fantastic. We only went inside the house to sleep, never even turned the TVs on. Seriously, the barn is amazing. Cooked every meal in the barn. The decor in the barn is so cool. We just so happened to be visiting a fishing guide/friend that lives in Seadrift and he took us to a island to see one of his friends, Lynn. Lynn just so happens to be related to the host of the house. Lynn came over and had lunch with us the following day where he got to telling us story's of where a lot of the neat decor had come to be in the barn. House, Barn and Lynn were great and its definitely a small world.

Quiet, convenient location

The property faces west on San Antonio Bay just south of the town of Seadrift. It is a short drive from Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, where we spent a lovely day. The property is perfect for morning bird watching and magnificent sunsets in the evening. The property owners were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.
