Overall, we loved our stay. The owners were very responsive to a problem we noted when we arrived which was reassuring. The property is beautiful and perfectly located within walking distance to the dog friendly beach. The outdoor shower was very useful. It’s is super bright and airy and has plenty of games which we used (thank you!) The layout of the house is a bit awkward since all bedrooms and bathrooms are on the lower level without even a half bath on the second floor where the kitchen, family room and screened in porch are. This is ok for a short vacation but would be challenging during a longer stay. The house has a lot of stairs which is ok if you are a fit and young family. I will note that the beds, bedding, pillows are not very comfortable. They are all very hard. I do think this could be remedied with some pillow toppers on the mattresses and some softer bedding and pillows. Overall, though we had a great time and would return if the bedding was improved.
