Great Company, OK House

The house itself seemed way over priced for the quality and cleanliness. Upon arrival, curtains were missing from all the window coverings. Thankfully we found them laying in the closets and were able to put a few on. We pulled out the couch bed, and it was completely dirty and stained with what appeared to be blood. The girl ended up having to fold the couch bed back up and just sleep on the couch without any sheets. We found extra blankets in the closet for her, but they were all soiled. She ended up just having to sleep with a small throw blanket. The upstairs master shower had a drain completely full of someone else’s hair blocking it, that we had to remove. The house itself needs updating as far as the furniture, pots/pans, etc. The management company was responsive which was nice! Although it was too late the next day, and we didn’t need any assistance at that point. Overall, I would say we had a great time because of the company, but will likely not return to this home due to the price and lack of cleanliness.

Cozy home (with wild turkeys!)

We enjoyed our stay at this home - it was cozy, easy to find, and comfy for us and the dog. There were two small enclosed spots outside which was helpful for the dog, and the beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The kids and adults alike LOVED the retro Nintendo game console and we had a blast playing Technobowl, Kirby, Bubble Bobble together. A few small things to keep in mind: because of its proximity to Highway 1, there was some traffic noise in the mornings. The bottom floor was all concrete, which made sense to accommodate dogs, but bring slippers! It would have been nice to have a few more pantry items also (e.g. plastic wrap or aluminum foil, some tupperware). And finally, a coffee table would have been nice to play games, although again, for the sake of the dogs, it's understandable that the living room space was left quite open. All and all, it was an accommodating, dog-friendly home!

Very comfortable house and excellent location for hiking and exploring Sea Ranch. Particularly enjoyed the gas grill and hot tub!

comfortable clean stay

This house had excellent open spaces for getting together. Bedrooms were quiet. Linens were high quality. The house was very clean. Wifi worked well. This place was extremely dated and needs to be updated for this price. There were broken and chipped dishes, etc. Appliances except for microwave were new and easy to use. Great tv

Very nice house

Very nice house. Location is great. A lot of space on the main floor. Some comments - Kitchen cabinets need to be cleaned or resurfaced. Wi-Fi does not work on the low level. We stayed at multiple houses in the Sea Ranch last twenty years. I would say this house is a little bit overpriced for Thanksgiving time.

Footloose and fancy free!

Our house was quiet, secure and offered peaceful views of the ocean. The hot tub was Devine! Plenty of space for gathering (only 5 of us) and kitchen was equipped with everything needed. Weather was perfect, no complaints!

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay at Footloose. While there is some road noise, we saw that in reviews. Also mentioned in some reviews, the cabinet doors were a bit sticky. We did not anticipate the no shoes rule indoors...would have brought house slippers. The property could use are rugs, particularly with no show rules and cement floors in the lower rooms.

Beautiful location

Stunning location, a pleasant walk to the beach. We absolutely loved how much care goes into reducing light pollution at Sea Ranch - was wonderful stargazing in the hot tub at night. Limited restaurant options in town - but we didn’t mind as we cooked most of our meals at home. Plenty of pillows and blankets, beds pretty comfortable, lots of books and games for kids. Only change we would recommend are changing out the cooking pans and pots - they were all scratched and the nonstick coating was peeling off. And there were no kitchen towels/linens for drying dishes or sponges to wash dishes or wipe counters that we could find? Would be nice to have some of those things available in the kitchen. Besides those small changes - would highly recommend this house - very easy check-in//checkout process and house was very comfortable!

Location not great

Unfortunately there was loud street noise from highway 1 our entire stay day and night. This was not the peaceful sea ranch getaway home we are used to. The couch is so tattered and old we put a comforter over it to sit on it. There were ripped pillows on a window seat that were very uninviting. Utensil and pans didn’t seem washed with food crusted on them. Overall we were quite disappointed jn our stay.

Perfect family home

Lovely home within walking distance to the beach. Great for a family; kids loved the hot tub and having their own rooms. Great choice of games amd puzzles, even a well-stocked.bookcase for all ages. Very clean, very peaceful. Loved the balconies and large outdoor area which played host to many deer and turkeys. Google wifi was a plus, too. Would stay again!
