Amazing house in wonderful location

The Barn was everything I’d hoped for, and more. The house is amazing exposed beam architecture, and extremely tastefully designed and decorated. The wood stove worked wonderfully and was very cozy for a rainy day. The kitchen was well equipped and it has a great dining table. The jacuzzi is a great perk. The kids loved the kid toys and ping-pong, and that we were very close to the pool and could also easily walk to the Bluff trail. We saw wild hares and deer and foxes and quail. Highly recommend.

This home was large, light-filled, and pet and family friendly. The kids movie/games/reading room was a big hit. Right across the street from the Del Mar pool, tennis courts, and community center amenities. Parking/access pass must be picked up in Gualala. There is a pest issue in the kitchen, which is posted and at least partially being addressed. Some more traps are needed and small repairs to kitchen and primary bath sinks. Otherwise a lovely home in the unique Sea Ranch area.

Beautiful place but have a bad pest problem!

We loved the house but were unhappy when my son was awakened by many mice in the children’s room(game/toy closet). He saw several running around and they kept making noises in the closet while he slept. And unfortunately there is a bad ant problem as well. It was a little like camping in a beautiful home with a large price tag($$$$) The property manager called promptly when I notified the office, but it would be too disruptive to have them come in while we were there. Hopefully, it will be addressed now.

We really enjoyed our stay at 60 Heron Ct. The house is beautifully built and furnished and well maintained. We enjoyed the views from the upstairs bedroom - so relaxing!

Golf Weekend

Some friends and I stayed at "The Barn" for an annual golf weekend. The weather was fabulous and the course challenging. The Barn is a beautiful home with a great kitchen for cooking and socializing. Our only problem was there were not enough beds for us all. The information on-line indicates there are five beds and the house sleeps seven. Unfortunately, there are only 4 beds and the house sleeps a max of six. With a smaller group, we would definitely stay again.

A Beautiful Getaway

The home is beautiful and well appointed. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of toys awaiting our two little kids. The setting is peaceful and everything in the home was lovely. A great vacation!

Modern, beautiful, comfortable

This home was perfect for myself, my husband, and our dog to spend a long weekend. The kitchen is modern, the slightly sunken living room was very comfortable for movie watching in the evening, and the enclosed whirlpool bathtub on the side deck was very relaxing. The upstairs bedrooms each have an en suite bathroom and very large beds. The best view is from a very comfortable leather chair in the master bedroom. Very beautifully designed and well-maintained. We would stay here again.

This Home is a Joy

Spacious, very quiet, very comfortable, light-filled, with an abundance of games, videos, and books (several about the history of Sea Ranch), a ping-pong table and bikes, and everything one could possibly need in the kitchen. A very sweet rocking chair in one bedroom, gas fireplace and very comfortable recliner in another bedroom. Cute children's bedroom. Fireplace in den with lots of wood stacked outside. Wildlife in the yard (rabbit! fox!). Just a few steps across from the Del Mar Center pool and not far from cliffs and down to Walk-on Beach. A separate outdoor room for the Jacuzzi area (although no curtains on windows or sliding-glass door). Large washer and dryer in the garage. Excellent heating system on a timer. Very comprehensive and helpful binder with emergency info, Sea Ranch info and maps, etc. The guestbook is fun to read - lots of wonderful memories have been made here. Thank you for sharing your house with us to make our own memories. It was a delight!

Beautiful home!

Our family stayed here for three nights for a coastal get-away. The Barn was spacious, beautiful, relaxing and had everything we needed for our stay with two children and 4 adults. Could see the ocean from the house. We loved exploring the beaches and the area around Sea Ranch as well as just hanging out at the house. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Looking forward to staying again!

great house, super location - perfect get away

The house lived up to the pictures, it is more modern than other Sea Ranch houses we've had and was filled with light. The two master suites upstairs had amazing views and our kids were very comfortable in the 3rd bedroom downstairs. Not sure if the description mentioned but there is ping pong and bikes for use, which is nice. Very close to Shell Beach and Walk On Beach. VRBO and the local management companies need to coordinate emails better - we were not notified that we were supposed to go to town to get the passes and package. But it was only 5 minutes away and no big deal. Overall a great stay and we would definitely return to this house. Thanks.
