Sea Ranch is truly a beautiful area, remote but still with small town establishments close by. The house itself was just as described - clean, spacious, brand new kitchen, lots of amenities, and surrounded by nature.
If anything could be improved, it would be the check-in process. It makes no sense to drive 10 minutes away to pick up keys from a box outside the Grand Welcome store when you could easily setup a lockbox at the house with the keys inside. That was a major inconvienience. Not to mention the bathtub was entirely too difficult to figure out how to turn on (and there were no instructions) plus the heating at the property was a bit wonky. It was 80 degrees when we entered and we discovered that if the fan is on it also produced heat.
However, once we settled, it was absolutely lovely. We cooked many meals, went on lots of hikes and walks in the trees and by the water. There is a local winery about 15 minutes up the windy roads and the local restaurants were quite good too! It was very relaxing and we couldn't get over the ocean views from so many angles of the house. Would definitely stay here again.
