We had a great 5-night stay at this cute cottage by the sea. The views were amazing and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We loved exploring the nearby hiking trails and beaches. The kitchen was well equipped and had most of the items we needed. There aren't a lot of restaurants around so we cooked most of our meals. The heaters kept the home cozy even though it was the middle of winter during our visit. The home has had some updating to the kitchen and bathroom sinks. It was very pet friendly. There were food and water bowls provided, also a toy and dog waste bags too. There are lots of great areas to bring your dog in the neighborhood and there is also a dog park a short drive away. I don't believe it had it listed in the description, but the owner requests that pets are not left unattended in the home. One warning for taller people is the shower heads are very low, so if you are taller than maybe 5'6 it would be tricky (I am short so it didn't effect my experience). Even though the showers have not been renovated, they did get nice and hot, which is important to me.The mattress downstairs was comfortable but the bedframe was very creaky, so you may want to bring earplugs if you have a sleep partner that moves around. Overall, we would stay at this house again in the future when returning to this area. Thank you for a nice New Year's week!
