"Nice homely atmosphere. Clean, comfortable and Breakfast freshly cooked and served in pleasant surroundings. Come and go if you please and self cater if you want to. Sarah and her Mum are most welcoming and checking in and out was faultless. A great place to stay and would do it again. Plenty of space to park."

"I paid £55 for family room, apparently other rooms start at £35. I didn’t need the family room but surprisingly it was all that they had left. The Hotel is undergoing some much needed refurbishment, everything about the hotel is dated, and either worn out or broken. The carpets were thread bear in places and had tape over some of the larger holes. The floors were very uneven to walk over. The furniture was very dated. The bedroom door was just a lightweight internal door, and not a fire rated...

"They do not do the daily cleaning, unless you ask for, but I wasn't told while check in. The fire alarm triggered at 7.30 in the morning and nobody explained anything. The shower mech wasn't working properly and it was impossible to enjoy a relaxing moment after a hard day at work. "

"Absolutely perfect stay as a solo traveler. The hosts were considerate and thoughtful and the room was spotless. Also a very nice English breakfast in the morning with plenty of options."

"I have to say I waa really surprised at how nice this place was. The only issue for me (being a bigger bloke) was i couldn't fit in the shower as it only has a s.mall opening but I was able to get around ."

"Great old builing. Nice size bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Quiet , no noise from fans etc. Good parking and central town location. Town very quiet and peacefull."

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "
