"This house was absolutely beautiful! Plenty of space for 6 adults. Parking was a little difficult but only because we had a trailer with 2 jeeps. That was on us! Normal everyday drivers would be just fine. Set on the back upper deck and watched the wild life (ground hog living under neighbors house) and used the grill."

It’s close to lots of activities — visited Bowling Green for the Corvette Museum and Lost River Cave, antiquing in cute towns like Franklin and Hidden Cave and Museum in Horse Cave, and Hiking and fishing in at Barren River Lake. The property is on a serious slope in the back and in my opinion, not something to tackle too easily for lake access. We're fishermen and were expecting the water level to be too low to use the dock, but we also didnt know the dock is a good deal away even if we could have. "The house was very reasonably priced so we did not go with high expectations. The location is great with spectacular views of Barren Lake. Everything is very simple with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The rental was clean and comfortable. It could use updating but for the price it is more than reasonable and I can completely understand the owners not wanting to invest. Altogether we had a great time. Thank you"

"This house had everything that we needed for multiple generations. The location is a bit far from some things, but the view is worth it. The house is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the fire pit is awesome, and the sun room had entertainment for the whole family. I would definitely recommend this place"
