"Breakfast was good, but we were rushed out as they had booked others at 9am when we started at 8am. We were made to move and finish our breakfast in the communal lounge area. It was a good spread with lots of different sauce stations and stuff, but no fresh fruit. Wouldn’t say this is worth 30 pound. Our room had peanuts and crumbs on the floor. The owner upsold us on “a much better room” on arrival which was bigger but had no AC, was very hot and we were not given access to the hot tub...

"This is a great B&B, close to the Gill's Bay ferry, and easy to find. The owners were very helpful and explained all of the room functions. The breakfast was amazing. Great place to stay the night before a ferry crossing. I had to good runs from the property that didn't require running on the main road, so it felt safe."

Dinner menu was fantastic and we took up the offer for packed lunches (sandwich, yoghurt, crisps and delicious rocky road) for our continuing NC500 journey which were excellent and very inexpensive. Loved the laid back atmosphere, we felt comfortable and at home. Definitely recommend! "

"Muy buena ubicación en portree Solo que si te toca una cabaña en lo alto no te llevan,(en realidad todas las cabañas están lejos) y solo suben tus maletas y tú tienes que irte caminando hasta tu habitación en toda tu estancia así esté lloviendo cosa muy común y el parking está muy lejos. Si te gusta la comodidad este no es el lugar, pero si están agradables y limpias"
