Relaxing stay on the water

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house for our anniversary. It’s a cozy little home with its own backyard beach, and it was incredible to open the door and have the ocean right there off the deck. At night, when the deck lights hit the waves, it felt peaceful and magical — truly the perfect weekend getaway. I would love to return and bring my family so they can enjoy this beautiful place as well. Thank you for such a lovely stay. One only thing, they need to fix the deck door and the key pad entrance but that didn’t change the fact that we loved the place.

Waking up to the rising sun on the Bay was spectacular. So peaceful and rejuvenating. Make sure you checkout out Calvert Cliffs State Park too. You’ll get a workout on the multiple trails and a beautiful shoreline at the end to find some natural treasures!! Sunshine Cottage was well equipped and clean as a whistle. Beds were amazingly comfortable too. Hosts Rhett and Kay couldn’t be more responsive to inquiries. Overall great experience and would recommend for a lovely getaway. Thank you!! Sallie

Our stay at Sunshine Beach was pleasant, relaxing and definitely right on the shore of the Bay!We are avid fishers and have fished this area before. Although our time staying here didn't bring us many fish, there was an abundance of crabs and that was equally satisfying.Our stay was comfortable and offered us the rest and refresh we hoped for and the getaway we needed from all the busy and hectic. Solomons Island is a must-go-to and an easy close by drive. Our neighbors during our stay were so friendly. Being able to walk right out the door to cast a line was perfect. Our hosts were very kind and easy to work with.Our plans are to return!

Everything was as advertised. Clean and tidy. Easy to find. Had everything we needed while visiting some state parks. Kids loved the beach and already asked to go back

Wonderful week at the beach

Our family spent a wonderful week right on the beach and can't wait to go back! The cottage is basic, but totally sufficient for o week spent mostly outside and was very comfortable in the evenings. The location--right on the beach--was unbeatable.

A little piece of heaven on earth

If you want to relax by the water and getaway from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. The cottage is updated and cozy with amazing views. Just step off the patio onto the sand. Cottage was stocked with essentials and extra goodies to make it feel like home.

Pupcation getaway

We take our dog away yearly to a location with water where she can swim. We have stayed at many vrbo and house rental locations. This was by far my favorite. The house is a hidden gem and a very special place. Not only did our dog love swimming daily but we also enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, quiet surroundings, and beautiful beach front steps from the door. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a peaceful stay and a place to recharge hope we make our way back one day!

My husband and I have been to this cottage once before. It's our secret getaway. It has everything you need plus the beach is just a few feet away. You can't find another place like this one!

Solitude and fun!

My son and I truly enjoyed our mini vacation for spring break at your home. It was the perfect getaway of solitude to clear my mind and fun for him near the water. Your home is beautiful. The location is out of this world stunning. We can’t wait to come back!

Breathtaking

If you are looking for a beautiful view right from your front door, this place is the place. My husband called the moon rising magical!! We came with our shihtzu and he just loved the freedom of having our very own beach!
