We stayed here for four nights and had a great experience. The location is fantastic - being so close to the private beach made it easy to enjoy the beautiful, clean winter ocean in a quiet and peaceful setting.The house is beautifully renovated with tasteful decor, and everything we needed was provided, making our stay very comfortable. Vanessa was a great host, and her kind communication and detailed instructions were very helpful.We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again in the summer!

Trish’s place is amazing with plenty of room for a large family and a dog. We had a wonderful time there enjoying the lovely location and the water. The house is well decorated with plenty of indoor activities as well, including a pool table and video games. You won’t regret staying at Bliss on the Bay.

Amazing getaway

What a wonderful location off the beaten path to spend a couple days away with the family! Great semi private beach that we had mostly to ourselves, and a very clean house with amenities that the kids loved! We will be coming back!

Lives up to its name!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay! Bliss on the Bay truly lives up to its name—every moment felt like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The home is beautifully decorated, sparkling clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The whole family enjoyed the beach, pool table, and time together reconnecting.Trish was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing helpful recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. Perfect

We loved our stay at Bliss on the Bay. The property was very clean and has everything you could possibly need. We played pool, ping pong, Ms PAC-man. We went for walks, spent time by the water. It was perfect. We were there in the fall so we couldn’t enjoy the kayak and paddle board. We’ll have to go back! The host has excellent communication. I couldn’t have asked for more from this property!

Wow, this stay was everything we could have imagined and more. The house was perfect and super clean. The real sell for me was proximity to a quiet beach! So special, and Trish was beyond an amazing host!

Truly Bliss on the Bay

I have to start by saying Trish was a spectacular communicator! We booked the house 1 year out from the nearby wedding we were attending. We needed a certain amount of accommodations and her space fit the bill in all aspects. The living space was great! The arcade game and pool table kept the teens busy between trips to the semi private beach and the wedding venue. It was insanely hot and the AC got a great workout but we were very comfortable. Kitchen is well appointed and the single/full pot coffee maker was perfect for full pot mornings and single cup afternoon pick me ups. Beds were very comfortable, rooms a great size. The beach chairs and umbrella were very handy for our trips to the beach as well as the wagon to haul everything there. Loved that we could sit outside in the evening and not get bitten by bugs, appreciated that the yard was treated for mosquitoes! We had 1 teen 2 preteens and 4 adults and we all had enough space that we weren't stepping on each other. A well thought out space! Thanks for being a great host!

Peaceful Retreat

Bliss on the Bay was exactly what we needed!!! Our family was in the area for an event for our daughter. This was the perfect retreat for us. The home has been meticulously updated and it is fabulous! Everyone had space to separate for down time, but there was also great space to gather together for meals and spending time together. The kitchen is well stocked making meal prep easy. The sunrise over the water was gorgeous and I only wish we were here in the warmer months to enjoy all of the outdoor space and outdoor toys the home offers. Trish is an amazing host! Her communication and responsiveness is 5 stars. Extra care is given to make sure you have guides to help you during your stay answering things from tips for the house, the area, and places to eat, and she quickly responds to any question you may have. We were given some flexibility for check-in/check-out, because she had the ability to offer that to us at the time we were staying. This small thing was such a huge gesture for us and was greatly appreciated. Looking forward to getting to stay here again!

Highly recommend

This home is located near a private beach on the Chesapeake bay. What a beautiful location and the house is newly remodeled. The kitchen has everything you could need and the house is stocked with several different supplies, toys, games and extras for your enjoyment. We loved our stay so much that we already have the house booked again for our next trip. Trish (the host) is very responsive and ready to make sure your stay is amazing.

Great Labor Day weekend stay

This was a really great property to stay at. We have stayed at multiple different houses in this area and this by far was the cleanest best decorated and most comfortable we have ever stayed in. The host is really dedicated to making this day very comfortable and interesting. The house is well stocked with soap, shampoo, and kitchen essentials. The host also provided K cup coffee pods and tea/sweetener. The house is great for a relaxing evening indoors with a pool table, board games, and also a classic arcade set up! The home was very well decorated with a modern look and had 4 very large 60” TVs. Very strong/fast internet. The house has kayaks and paddle boards in great condition, as well as cornhole and floaty pool toys. A big side deck is a great spot for enjoying the fresh air. There’s plenty of space for the kids to run around. It is really only a one minute walk to a nice beach with calm waters (good for kids to swim) and few other people. Usually in the morning, we were the only ones on the beach. In the late afternoon other families would show up, but the beach was plenty large for people to spread out and have their space. Check-in and checkout process was a cinch. The host was in contact quickly when we needed her with helpful tips. She even helped us and accommodating us for a special situation, for which we will be forever grateful! The host is someone who really enjoys helping guests have an unforgettable vacation.

Six year old cried when we left....

The subject says it all. We only had a few days but made the most of our stay. Communication with the owner was impeccable. The house was super clean and had everything we needed to make our stay exceed expectations. Location may not be for everyone but for us it was perfect as we wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the northeast. If you and your family and probably one other family want to get away for a secluded warm weather vacation within waking distance to a semi private beach look no further. We will definitely be back. Bliss on the bay nailed it.
