This property is a stand alone carriage house. Rustic and aesthetically pleasing from the outside. The pictures on the site are accurate as far as the inside space. We ran into some issues with the heating (the small gas fireplace was the primary source of heat and didn’t do well heating the large space downstairs or upstairs. The pilot light went out more than ones and we had to resort to A small electric heater in the bedroom and living room that did not do the job. It appeared that this rental wasn’t used all winter or at least wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. The fields and sunsets were beautiful that being said the bitter cold country setting surely drew cold field mice inside for warmth throughout the winter, there was evidence of that.as The kitchen gas stove was great though not cleaned prior to arrival. Advise that you bring your own bath gel and shampoo. It’s a great space and probably more appealing in the summer for a family. It has great potential. The host was responsive.
