Just a beautiful place. the view is amazing. the sunrise and sunset followed by the full moon rising on our left as the sunset on our right. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy on a couple chilly days and evenings. The soaking tub eased the aches after hiking too far! Reflections will be our destination of choice many times in the future!

Amazing cabin on Lake Superior

This cabin has it all. It is right on the lake with amazing views, the cabin is incredibly comfortable with all the amenities you could ever want! You will never want to leave and we loved our stay.

Fantastic Retreat!

We enjoyed four days at Reflections. This property is AMAZING- with thoughtful planning of the owners to furnish everything possible for a comfortable and entertaining stay. This is a perfect location to explore the sights, or hike and bike the many trails along scenic highway 61, as well as a comfortable place to enjoy the amazing views of Lake Superior or curl up by the fire with a book. We hope to come back again soon!

North Shore getaway

Everything about this property is wonderful. We did not want to leave. The views of Lake Superior are stunning from outside and inside the home. The house is comfortable with all the things you need. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the soaker tub. We can't wait to come back again.

Great stay on Superior

My family and I had a great time staying on the lake for a summer vacation. The property is close to many different state parks, which we frequented. The views were amazing over the lake and the stars at night. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay on the North Shore. One item to note: There is another cabin set further back on the property. It did not bother us as the folks renting that cabin were incredibly friendly and we enjoyed seeing them. But, just note that it is not completely isolated. We had a wonderful time and we would definitely stay there again!

We had a girls weekend in honor of my 70th birthday and it was spectacular! This cabin is beautifully decorated and maintained. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We witnessed many moods of the Gitchie Gume, including both sunrises & sunsets! The weather gave us perfect late October sunny days—crisp mornings & warm days. We watched movies & made s’mores in the fireplace (yes, roasting sticks provided). Can’t think of anything that would have made this a better place to stay. Highest recommendation!

Amazing place to fully enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior

Wow. This beautiful home sits on the shore of Lake Superior, with direct access to the rocky shore. Our family enjoyed so much time exploring the rocky shore and just sitting and marveling at the beauty of the lake. Inside the home, in addition to an unbeatable view of the lake from almost every room, there is a cozy living and dining room, fully decked out kitchen with everything you could need, a gorgeous master bedroom, and a master bathroom with a soaking tub to enjoy the lake view while you relax. The wraparound deck and landscaped patio again provide great views of the lake and also a large area to grill, dine outside, sit and relax, and play outdoor games. I truly cannot imagine a better place for our annual family trip to the North Shore. Although I don't even know if we needed to leave the property to get our fill of the lake, but we did venture out each day to explore so many parks and landmarks in the area. We took easy and beautiful drives for hiking and beaching in Temperance River, Tettegouche, Split Rock, Cove Point, Crystal Beach, Sugarloaf Cove, and Illgen Falls, as well as enjoyed great meals, ice cream, coffee, mini golf, and supply stops in Tofte, Schroeder, Beaver Bay, Silver Bay and Two Harbors. I cannot recommend this location enough, and cannot wait to return!

HEAVEN

This property is amazing. I almost didn't book because our children are 10, 8, 8 and 6 and was concerned it would not be kid friendly, but I was wrong, it was perfect for our family of 6. It was clean, functional, there were games and even hot chocolate and candies left as a welcoming gift. Two points I want to rave about, first the view, I mean its why we all travel to Lake Superior in the first place and its obvious the owners were blessed to have been able to rebuild over an existing building to have been able to build so close to the lake, its beyond stunning. The second, and maybe even better than the view was how comfortable the bed was, it felt like what sleeping in heaven must feel like, it was luxurious and I slept with the windows open and could hear the waves crashing against the rocks. If I could change anything, it we would of liked to have had a fire pit outside for smores. But truly, a great place.

North Shore anniversary

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. We did not want to leave. The property is beautiful and has everything for a comfortable stay. The views of Lake Superior from the deck and from inside the home are stunning. It is in a very central location to explore all of the North Shore. Can't wait to come back another time.

Perfect escape

Such a gorgeous home with beautiful artwork and unbelievable views. Hosts thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay and provided all the essentials. The master bed was so comfortable and the sound of the waves was so relaxing. It was hard for us to leave such a peaceful place. Beautiful

Reflections is as close to the lake as you could be with beautiful expansive views of the lake! The kitchen has everything you could ever hope for in a rental — even s’mores sticks. The king bed was very comfortable. We adored the sauna. Such a wonderful location on the lake and just south of Schroeder in Hwy 61.

Gorgeous view!

This vacation home has everything you need. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and found everything we needed to make the cake in the kitchen. The view is unbeatable and the beds so comfortable. The sauna was an added bonus! The driveway down to the property is quite steep so a bit nerve-racking with snow and ice, but manageable. I would not hesitate recommending this property!

Stunning Property

I wanted a special spot for my wife and I to celebrate our 30th Wedding Aniversary. This was it. The beautiful view of Lake Superior exceeded our expectations. You feel so close that you might get your feet wet. Thinking we might want to return for our 31st….

Schroeder paradise

This is not our first stay, and it won't be our last. We love the house, accomadations, amenatites, and location (perfectly peaceful). Thank you for the extra firewood and the addition of a grill! Everything about our stay was outstanding! Thanks again!
