Family weekend

Perfect location. Wonderful view of the lake and kids had fun on the rocks. Beds were comfortable and cabin had everything we needed.

We really loved this place. Gorgeous views of the lake and very private and peaceful. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Great place to come back to from a long day of exploring all of the spectacular scenic sights in the area.

Convenient to Lutsen Ski Resort

Beautiful views of Lake Superior and it was convenient to Lutsen Ski Resort. My only complaint is I feel the pictures of the cabin are a little misleading in that it is much smaller in person and it has a mini fridge in the kitchen.

Dream stay at Serenity

Location is perfect, close to the Lake. I just wanted to stay and be there. Accommodations were good; beds were great.Place is extremely stocked with anything one would need on vacation. Contact people were delightful and extremely helpful. Serenity is the best place I have stayed at on Lake Superior.

First trip to the MN North shore and Lake Superior. It absolutely did not disappoint. Loved our accommodations and the view out of this world! Shower head could have been better but otherwise our stay was fabulous! Highly recommend!

North Shore Getaway

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Heart of Lake Superior. It was the perfect setup for the 4 of us (2 married seniors, 2 adult children). I can't explain how peaceful it felt to just sit on the deck or climb out on the rocks to stare at the water. I would come back here in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Lovely time on Lake Superior

We had a wonderful time at the Serenity Cabin! The cabin itself was cozy but comfortable for the three of us. Well stocked kitchen for cooking (which can be rare with rentals). When we weren't out and about exploring/hiking, we spent most of our time on the deck (great for morning coffee or drinks at night). It was also nice to go out onto the rocks on the lake for sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing. Even though you share the space with the two other cabins nearby, it was quiet and we still felt secluded. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Perfect Spot on the North Shore!

This was our second stay at Heart of Superior and it was just as perfect as the last time. We stayed in Serenity and had everything we needed (really nicely finished interior and very comfortable), plus beautiful sweeping views of Lake Superior from every window inside and from our deck outside. The location is super-convenient to everything the North Shore has to offer - hiking at various State Parks, shopping in Grand Marais - but it's also a very quiet spot to retreat to (no highway noise and only 2 other rental units on site). We hope to come back again next year!

I have to say we were disappointed when we arrived. Our cabin shared a wall with another cabin and we could hear everything! I mean everything! There was only a dorm refrigerator, which didnt accommodate the small amount we purchased on the way. There was a nice little basket of drinks and chocolates. One of the chocolates had been chewed through by a critter of some kind. We also found critter droppings in the tub.The pictures on VRBO are deceiving. The accommodations appear larger on the site as well as more private. I being totally honest here. Ive never had to leave negative feedback before.

Fall getaway

Love the property!! Lovely 2 bedroom with everything you need!! When you go to Lake Superior it’s a must to be at the shore line. Sunrise over the lake is amazing, and the sounds of the waves is so relaxing. Want to go back ❤️

My son and I loved being so close to the lake! The owners were super quick with their response and fix when the internet went out for a short time. Having a table with chairs on the deck was a really nice touch. Very clean and super quiet! We'd definitely stay again. Thanks!

True to the name

Serenity says it all.... it was peaceful and very comfortable. Having a sauna was a nice extra. Great spot in the middle of the north shore. Would highly recommend!

Lovely spot, pristinely clean, and beautiful. The kitchen is very compact but we found everything we needed. Loved all the natural light from all the windows. Thank you!
