"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. "Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! "

"Our family absolutely loved our stay. The game room, hot tub and fire pit were family favorites. All of the essentials were included to make this an amazing weekend getaway. "We stayed 4 nights at Jim's wonderful property! It was secluded which we loved, we saw many many deer, a turkey and some Canadian Geese! The home is filled with so many historical items that were so interesting to see. "The house was perfect for our family vacation. The house was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the fact that there was plenty of seating on the deck. Only one small complaint and it seems to be the case on other houses we have rented in the same development , that is there is no pantry, so no real space to store dry food items."
