This former granary has been converted into two delightful holiday cottages, yet still retains many of its original features including the oak beams. Admire the wonderful far reaching views over the open countryside and enjoy this rural and peaceful setting. A great place for breaks all year around, as each property boasts a cosy wood burner, perfect to come home to and curl up in front of during winter, and an enclosed garden with hot tub to relax in. Walkers are spoilt for choice as the Wolds Way and Cleveland Way, enjoying stunning coastal scenery, are both close by. Filey is a short drive from the cottages with its fantastic beach and lovely promenade to walk along, and is a popular destination for those looking for a quiet seaside escape. Within a short drive you can visit Whitby, Scarborough, Flamborough Head and the traditional seaside resort of Bridlington. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park is also close by, where you can catch the steam train and travel over the moors from Pickering to Whitby. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is just a few minutes drive away and here you will see puffins, gannets and kittiwakes to name a few of the thousands of migrating sea birds.
