"You can tell from staying at this little cottage that the owners take pride in making sure the place is clean and that the place feels as though they are at home. It was the perfect place for our little getaway. The cottage was in a great area tucked away behind another beautiful home and next to an adorable pond area. The location was also great for walking down to where the beach is and main strip. Id say about a 20 minute walk with minimal turns. Overall, we are very pleased with this cottage...

"When you check into a VRBO, you always wonder if the pictures and description are accurate. My wife and I were so impressed with this property and locale, that we stayed THREE weeks. This very quiet setting included turkey and all kinds of birdlife. Several nights we slept with the windows open - never a sound except the birds. Everything about our stay was fabulous - we had read some concerns from a prior guest about ants and spiders. I think they were dreaming - we saw nothing of the sorts...

"This was our 3rd vrbo stay in Harpswell and our first on Bailey Island. We went for part of the week on our own and cousins joined us there for a couple of days. We were thrilled to bring our Boston Terrier along, too! The house is rustic yet elegant in some ways (amazing steam room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds & bedding).
