"We enjoyed spending a week here. The place was charming and definitely tucked away down a quiet street surrounded by mountains. Our host Maria was easy to contact. We only met her once as she was mostly out of town when we were there but she was gracious enough to let us see the 4 alpacas up close and feed them. "The location of the property to restaurants was great. However, the property is tucked away on a side street. If arriving after 7 pm, guests should be told not to drive past the Pizzeria on the right since house numbers are difficult to see in the dark."

"Lovely home, however, there were some issues. Almost every dish we pulled out was dirty and unfortunately we kept having to deal with ants by the front door area, where the garbage/recycling bins were. Communication with the host was ok. I didn't get responses to questions asked prior to arriving, which is bad form. "

The home itself is decorated beautifully and elegantly and the garden and surrounding grounds are so magical. "The location of this property in Sulmona is great for getting around to nearby cities (we had a car), walking to restaurants and/or stores or just for an evening pasegiatta along the main street and piazzas. It’s a great, walkable town with wonderful, friendly locals that make you feel right at home. The wifi in the unit is great!
