Scafell Pike

Looking north from the top of Scafell Pike, at 3209 ft it's the highest peak in England.
Walked up the quickest, but steepest route from Wasdale and back down the longer and less busy Borrowdale route. A really good day, thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the different aspects of this hill.

Eskdale walks from Eskdale campsite. A great place to pitch your tent. We took a 3km walk from the campsite, 1 1/2 hr moderate difficulty with a 20 Minute uphill ascent, through mine ruins and taking in a beautiful Tarn at the top.
