The villa is absolutely gorgeous and the architecture, layout, decore and outdoor spaces are so beautiful. This place is so well equipped with everything you would need and so much more... from the pool towels and extra beach towels, to cleaning supplies, shopping bags, coffee supplied, spices and oils you just reach for it and it is there. Even shampoo, conditioner, body wash... everything all topped up! The linens also are great quality and feel so crisp and luxurious, which makes you feel like special guests. Very comfortable beds, soft thick towels and bathmats and everything so clean and white. The location is really perfect, so close to everything, the town, the beach. It is high up on a steep hill but that gives you the exercise you want to burn off all of the amazing food. Our host was always a message away with good response and when we requested a golf cart it was brought right to our door. Very clean home and grounds maintained daily. Our roundtrip airport transport arranged by our host was very smooth and easy, so much peace of mind. We would come back and stay here again for sure! Thanks you John for a perfect experience.

We had an amazing week! The house was perfect for our family: 2 adults, 2 teenagers. The grounds were beautiful, the pool was relaxing and the views (from all vantage points throughout the property were amazing. Inside was very comfortable and stocked with everything to make us feel at home. There’s so much space to enjoy and relax. John made everything so easy and his attention to detail made our trip planning seamless. Maria was a great contact on-site as well. We would definitely stay here again. 100% recommend.

This place was a perfect fit for what we were looking for… walking distance from the beach and restaurants (we quickly become accustomed to the uphill walk home), a pool that we had to ourselves, privacy, comfortable beds, and great responsiveness for any issues we had. Would definitely return.

A Peaceful Paradise

This was the perfect retreat for our stay in Sayulita! The house offered the ideal balance of privacy and convenience. It’s just a short 10-minute walk to the town square and beach, yet far enough from the noise and bustle to truly relax and unwind.The home itself is beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained. The pool was a highlight—perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring. The upper sundeck provided stunning panoramic ocean views, and we especially loved sitting up there in the evenings, watching the incredible lightning shows from nearby storms. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience.Maria was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She made sure we were oriented to the house and was always available to assist with anything we needed. From arranging taxis to connecting us with a boat captain for a snorkeling excursion, Maria went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable.

Fantastic Property!

The property was amazing. Our 3 boys ages 16, 14, and 12 loved the pool and the home had great sleeping arrangements for them. The location was perfect for our family. An easy walk for the beach and to get to the downtown restaurants and street food. We made the walk 3-4 times per day during our week in Sayulita. John was easy to communicate with and Maria was a great resource during our stay.

Absolutely fantastic stay!

We were beyond thrilled with our stay at Casa Paraiso del Pacifico! John was very helpful before our trip in providing detailed information about the house and Sayulita. He also helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport, as well as a golf cart rental. The location of the house is superb! It is right up the hill from the main plaza so it is super easy to enjoy the all the liveliness of town and then head up the hill for quiet, peaceful relaxation. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with tropical plants and the house has authentic Mexican decor. The house was well provisioned. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The views from the 2nd floor and roof top patios were exquisite. We felt so fortunate to be able to stay here! Thank you John for sharing your incredible home with us :)

Work related test period and holiday

This home is like being at home. Amazingly comfortable, well appointed and very appropriate architecture and decor for Sayulita, Mexico. The property manager and host were very attentive and hospitable. Couldn’t have had a better experience. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family and returning. .

Perfectly Perfect

From the start of the rental you’re introduced to Maria who cares for the property and she sets up your weekend ahead of time or during your stay from transport to and from the airport to fishing, rentals, personal chefs, whatever ya need! The house is very clean with a good size plunge pool for those hot afternoons or early morning wake ups. You are above Sayulita so it’s quiet! You’re also exposed to the cooling breeze that comes up the hill. Wonderful views! The street is beautiful and lush. I can’t wait to stay again! An anniversary for the books :)

I wish it was my house

From beginning to the end, the owner John and the local property manager Maria satisfied all of our questions, wants and needs. Maria helped book a fishing trip and snorkeling for my family. The house is beautiful, well maintained and was very clean upon arrival. I think the only thing missing was a TV in the master bedroom. After a long day at the beach, and the kids are asleep, it would have been nice to watch a movie with my wife from the comfort of the bedroom. The town and beach are a short walk down the hill. Many people rent golf carts, we preferred to walk. If you have never driven in this area, I highly recommend renting a SUV or truck with higher ground clearance. We went down many roads that grinded and scraped the bottom of our Nissan rental car. We would definitely rent this home again in the future. A wonderful home and experience. Thank you.

Roomy Spot for a Family

Highlights: Maria--the house manager is wonderful. She is so kind, makes herself as available as you need, and has a deep knowledge of Sayulita. There is plenty of room for a family especially for a longer stay. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy various activities together or privately. The pool area looks shady in the online photos but got plenty of sun throughout the day to enjoy sunbathing poolside even in the winter months. The garden areas are beautifully maintained and gorgeous. The house has a lived-in family vibe--not too precious or designer-y with sturdy furniture and a handful of traditional pieces like the four-poster bed and the bedroom wardrobe. Some items are quite dated. The views are stunning and it is so close to town--walking distance from everywhere. What to know: The kitchen is well appointed with everything you will need if you like to cook. Pans are older teflon and most of the items are somewhat flimsy and new-ish or fragile from wear, again slightly dated. Filtered water is provided and the supply is refreshed weekly. Nights in Sayulita can be LOUD! I doubt it matters where you stay. Pack earplugs! Minisplit units upstairs and down are available if you need them (we did not) but make the space easy to cool. The living room can definitely accommodate five people or even six but the seating is probably only comfortable for longer stretches for about three of those people.The neighbors are great. The house was perfect for our longer stay.
