Casa hermosa y excelente vista

La casa nos encantó, nos hospedamos mis 2 hijos y mi esposo y está excelente. Muy cerca de la playa y del pueblo para comprar comida. La vista maravillosa, si buscas un lugar tranquilo, es el lugar ideal.

The host, Shelley, is very responsive which was helpful for any questions we had during our stay. The house is overall in great condition with unique architecture. Overall, the house worked well for our family. The house cleaner, Carmina, is very nice and friendly. Similar to what others have noted in the reviews, we experienced the occasional insect/bug/spider, but it’s expected to an extent when you stay in the jungle. We also heard fairly loud construction during our stay as there were a couple houses actively under construction near by. This is not a critique of the host, just something to be aware of for the area. Lastly, don’t underestimate the slope of the hill and come prepared with at least a golf cart. We had an electric golf cart which worked fine.

House and grounds are beautiful and are as advertised. Loved Sayulita! However there were some maintenance issues. As our flights were delayed we didn’t arrive until 11pm and found we had no water. Then found the contact person I was instructed to talk to no longer worked for them. The owner’s son came and had to put in a new water pump so we didn’t get the water until 12:50 am. Then there was electrical issues in the main floor bathroom that took two days to resolve. The pool is lovely with a great view however the heater/pump quit after a couple of days. The pool guy came, got it going and then it quit again for the rest of our stay. However the worst part was not due to the homeowner. It was everyday all day (except the weekend and lunch breaks) very loud jackhammering of rock directly below. You couldn’t sit by the pool and it was loud even in the house.

Beautiful view, nice house layout, but….We were robbed our second night there. All cash stolen from our second floor bedroom. Our mistake for not putting it in safe, but was in bag and thought property was secure. Also, several different flying insects and bugs in house. Not huge deal, but for those faint of heart. not great. On last night, there was a bat in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Access by vehicle is difficult. Our transport van could not drive up the hill. Rent an ATV. Wouldn’t recommend golf cart as needs more power. We enjoyed the pool, air conditioned bedrooms.

The house is wonderful and the setting and views from the pool deck are incredible. We were visited by lots of birds and interesting animals which we enjoyed. The only downside is that Sayulita is becoming more and more built up so that the noise from construction carries up the hill. The road to the house is paved but has massive potholes so if you rent a car, get one with high clearance.

Lovely stay in Sayulita

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Nanzal. The house is really nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, the view was outstanding. Vincente was very responsive to our texts. There is pretty loud music from neighboring houses most evenings, so recommend you bring earplugs. No complaints though, we had a great stay!

House is awesome

Our family of 6 stayed at Casa Angel and had a epic time. The house is a pleasant distance from town where you have a unbelievable view but is close enough to town you can walk if you want. I’ve stayed in other house on the hill where walking isn’t a realistic but Casa Angel has just as good of a view. The house it’s self is so rad and a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunset. Also having the headed pool was so nice! Vincent was super helpful and responsive too. Our next visit we’ll definitely try to stay there again. Beautiful pool and location!

Great anniversary trip. Loves the pool and location. Some plumbing issues with leak in downstairs bathroom ceiling, but owner quickly responded. Bring bug spray and noise canceling ear plugs because the party music from downtown is no joke. Every night of our 7 night stay we had to put up with loud club like music with bass which made it difficult to sleep and relax in the evenings. Sayulita is a party town. The days were perfect and pretty peaceful by the pool. We also appreciated the AC in rooms. Newer appliances and all the cooking amenities you need. Property could use a little TLC inside but the grounds were absolutely amazing. We loved having the pool all to ourselves and it was quite private.

Holiday Vacation

Beautiful property and the house was very comfortable . Ocean views from every room in the house . My family really loved the heated salt water pool and the gorgeous views Vicente was very kind and helpful . I had the wrong information for him in the beginning of our trip . Carmina was wonderful too . I would highly recommend staying at Casa Angel . I wish we could have stayed longer . Shelly the host was great ! Thank you !

Paradise!

We loved our stay at Casa Angel. The home was comfortable and beautifully appointed. The pool was amazing. The house is above the town so we had a fantastic view. But it was quiet and easy to get into town. Our pre-stay questions were promptly answered. During our stay we weren’t sure where to empty the garbage and the property manager came over promptly and removed it for us. I hope to return.

Sayulita Casa on a Hill

Beautiful home, with an amazing view and pool. Host is responsive and thorough, and the local house manager is an excellent resource for any onsite needs. We loved our first trip to Sayulita, and Casa Angel was a great homebase for us. To note: there are seriously steep hills/roads in Sayulita, and Casa Angel is ~1/4 mile up one of these steep hills from the beach/downtown; this was great walking exercise for us, but can be a serious consideration if you plan to walk to/from town and have any physical limitations or are not inclined to the level of exercise required.

Very authentic home for the area

Grounds were beautiful. The view from the pool was gorgeous. The property manager, Vicente was excellent! He got us a chef for breakfast the food was amazing and helped us with whatever we needed. Made our trip all the more special!!

Great house but disappointed

The house is architecturally beautiful, but we were disappointed to experience plumbing problems, and more disappointed with the way the plumbing problems were handled by the manager. My family was stuck at the house while the plumber worked in the master bedroom/bath. It was clear this was not a new leak. We don't expect older homes to be perfect, but we do not expect to deal with obvious and significant leaks. The house was nice and well-furnished. The pool and patio were beautiful.

This house was paradise!

We just got back from a 5 night stay at Casa Angel. 2 adults and 2 kids. The house is stunning. The pool was large and inviting. And the sunsets were absolutely incredible! You can’t go wrong with this view. The town of Sayulita is so cute and fun. Very boho surf/beach town which was just the vibe we were going for. And there were many delicious food options in town. We chose this place because we wanted to be away from the party scene at night and get some true R&R.

Perfect place!

We loved our stay at casa angel! It was perfect for our kids and the grandparents. The beds were comfy and the pool was fabulous. The beautiful gardens were so lovely. Casa Angel was an oasis from the busy town but with our golf carts we could be at the beach in less the 10 minutes. Thank you to Itzel the manager for great communication and support with all our needs.

Vacay with friends

We were 3 couples and very much enjoyed our stay. Perfectly situated pool to appreciate the beautiful hills and ocean views. Three bedrooms, each with own bathroom. Clean and well appointed. Only one king bed. Because on steep hill with other houses nearby, noise travels up. If mobility an issue, may be hard to access unless have car or golf carts.

Everything and then some….

Casa Angel is simply marvelous in every aspect. The pictures and written descriptions are 100% accurate. From beginning to end, the process starting with my first outreach until we left the house was fabulous. Itzel (the house manager) was super responsive offering to meet us on our arrival to show us around (which was not necessary due to the quality of the pre-arrival communication). She was also extremely helpful in assisting us with other needs that we had during the stay and for recommendations about activities, restaurants, transportation, etc. The house itself is nothing short of spectacular. The views and pictures speak for themselves and, if anything, understate the beauty and tranquility of the home and neighborhood. Everything within the home works exceptionally well, including hot water, air conditioning, lighting, kitchen appliances, linens, indoor and outdoor furniture, WiFi, The pool is immaculate and the water was pleasantly warm. Since our stay was relatively brief, we only interacted once with Carmina and she also did a great job keeping the house beautifully clean. In short, the place is fantastic. Numerous others have commented about the steep climb up (and down!), which is what affords the magnificent views. We rented a golf cart at first but there were only a few places that would rent to us because not all golf carts are strong enough for the steep hill. We decided to return the cart after the first day because cabs are so easy and affor
