Our family (two kids ages 10 and 12) had an incredible stay at Casa Mariluna! The property is absolutely stunning—each of us had our own bedroom with a private bathroom, which made it so comfortable. The kitchen and outdoor grill were perfect for cooking, and the open living room was ideal for relaxing with a book while enjoying the breathtaking ocean and beach views. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool!The location was great—an easy walk to the north end of the beach and about 20 minutes to downtown. Communication was excellent with quick responses, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.We highly recommend Casa Mariluna and can’t wait to return on our next trip to Sayulita!

Sayulita trip to Casa Mariluna

Casa Mariluna is a great property with an excellent location. The pool and views of the ocean are outstanding. The house had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The property manager is Iris and she is wonderful. Iris is easy to work with and a great help in setting up transportation, chef dinner and massages in the house. Highly recommended this property.

An exceptional property

The property is fantastic. We had some issues at first with the appliances, but they were quickly dealt with. Because of the open air living room, we rarely felt the need to leave. The water fountain and the water wall were exceptional. We had a wonderful stay.

Peaceful Oceanside villa

6 adults stayed 5 nights….wish we could’ve added another week! Beautiful property with helpful housekeeping and grounds personal to make sure we had all we needed. Location was peaceful without neighborly noise. Only sounds you’ll hear are the ocean waves breaking on the shoreline. Brief 15 minute walk into downtown, or do as we did and just rent a golf cart. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend this property to others. Gracious property owner checked in with us as well.

Sewer back up

Property was nice. 2 of the 4 bathrooms were unusable due to the drains clogged. Water backed up into the hall and one of the bedrooms. The main centerpiece water fountain was broken with exposed wiring and stagnate water with dead bugs floating in it. Very little communication with host to fix the problems or make it right

The home is breathtaking. Close enough to the ocean to hear the waves. Verty quiet neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay. The home is everything you could want. Iris, the property manager was available, attentive and delightful. Berte, our houskeeper, did a great job and was so pleasant. Next time, we’ll probably rent a golf cart. After a few margaritas, the walk home from dinner seemed much longer than the walk in. Overall definitely 5 stars- Highest recommendation!

Amazing & gorgeous!

This rental property was everything & more. The pictures don't do it justice. It is way more beautiful than we ever imagined. The house was neat & clean. Everyone was so nice & accomadating too. Unbelievable home!

Just back from a week at Casa Mariluna and we were very pleased. I can say this is BY FAR the most beautiful VRBO I have ever rented. The three en suite bedrooms were ideal for our traveling party of three married couples. Each room has an ocean view and we could hear the waves at night. Quiet, peaceful, incredibly clean, and well appointed. Great staff and lots of help with questions/transportation/etc. We felt very safe and had everything we needed to enjoy a long week on the Riviera. I'd absolutely recommend this home and would stay here again.

There is always a degree of risk when you rent 'unseen' house - photos can play tricks on you...not on this occasion. This place looks even better than what you can see on site. Hidden in a nice part of the town and very safe. Nicely decorated and the beach is beautiful. Staff and Andrea the owner pleasure to be in touch with. Lovely Home

We had a great time at Casa Mariluna. The home is beautiful and provides everything you need to relax and enjoy yourselves. Its nice to have a golf cart as the walk to town gets a bit tiring day after day. Sayulita is a lovely town with lots to offer and feels very safe. Great time

We've been coming to Sayulita for nearly 25 years and how the town has changed! I have to say the 'North End' is where you want to be and this house is the just amazing. Everything was top notch, the house manager's and her daughter were incredibly helpful. The beach out front was beautiful and much nicer than further south towards the town. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful spot to take their family and/or friends. We will rent this place again!

Amazing home!

I have been to various places in Mexico and this home in Sayulita was by far my favourite! The house is absolutely amazing with a drop dead gorgeous view of the ocean and sunset! It is easy to walk everywhere from this house and the walk on the beach is beautiful. The rooms are all extremely comfortable and have ocean view rooms that are amazing to wake up to. Both the owner and the property manager were extremely helpful with making our trip the best it could be, including helping us book excursions as well as even setting up personal chefs to come to the home and cook an amazing meal. I would highly recommend this house for an incredible experience and vacation.

Very special property.

My three daughters and I visited Sayulita and stayed at Casa Mariluna for 4 nights beginning Sept 5th 2013. The house is exceptional! It is well maintained, well equipped with all necessary appliances, and beautifully/tastefully decorated. We were welcomed by a very friendly property manager, house keeper and gardener. The views are spectacular and the house is every bit as special as the photos indicate. I do suggest packing insect repellent in your suitcase. Thank you to Andrea for offering this little piece of heaven in Sayulita!

Best house in Sayulita

I procrastinated writing this review, as I kinda wanted to keep news of Casa Mariluna to myself lol. I've stayed at many houses in Sayulita, and I believe this has the best combination: close enough, yet away from the town center, close to beach and not up a hill to walk yet with a great view; great amenities and beautiful, tasteful decor (down to the bathroom soap dishes). Andrea's staff does a terrific job without being intrusive. I will undoubtedly make this my annual winter Sayulita retreat home.

A Little Piece of Serenity

My wife and two daughters (10 &7) stayed in Casa Mariluna for a week. It was an amazing time. Where should I begin? A beautiful open house with a spectacular view of the ocean with a pool in the living room. What more could you ask for? The house is on a quite part of the beach and a short 15-20 minute walk to town. We alternated between the beach route and road route as it gave us excuses to try different restaurants and beach bars. The standard day was breakfast, surf, then back to the house for a swim in the pool, a nap, read, and off to dinner. (a bit of horse riding thrown in as well) The house has a really nice kitchen but with so many good places to eat we didn't use it much. Also, the staff that takes care of the home are very nice and accommodating. We will be back. Thank you for letting us stay in your little slice of paradise.

Stunning home, pure relaxation

Casa Mariluna is a gem. Our vacation there was so relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house was perfectly appointed for all of our needs and we left feeling fully recharged and lucky to have found such a wonderful place to stay. We are already planning a return trip! It's just far away enough from town to feel secluded and peaceful, but still just a short walk to all of the action. You will love sleeping to the crashing waves and waking up to a luxurious indoor/outdoor home with an inviting pool and spectacular view!!!

Best Holiday Ever

My family of 6 spent 2 weeks at Casa Mariluna this winter..... wish we could have stayed 6 months! It is absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous decorations, comfortable furniture, excellent housekeeping, well-equipped kitchen, quiet beach front. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to town, so you are away from noise, but close enough to enjoy all the town has to offer. Andrea is very conscientious about making all arrangements re pick-up at the airport, etc.

Simply magnificent! These are the only words I can use to describe this house. Every breath taking step we took upon arrival, made us realize we had made the perfect choice. Unbelievable in every way!

My husband and I stayed at Casa Mariluna with two other couples for our wedding celebration weekend. The minute we walked in the door to the fountains, views, and beautiful decor, we were so excited! Sarah and Maru were fabulous as well. They greeted us, made us laugh and Sarah's husband cooked an incredible Mexican feast for us. We have been to Sayulita 5 times and Mariluna is by far the most spectacular place we have been! We cannot recommend it enough. Pure luxury. Can't wait to go back!

Your home is fabulous! We loved the open floor plan that made us feel we were sleeping on the beach next to the surf. Like our friends said, we did not use the fully equipped kitchen, but if Sara would cook for us on our next visit would definitely eat in.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mariluna. The views were fantastic. The whole house very open and comfortable. Our friends wanted to eat our so we did not cook but it is well equipped. The beds were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back.
