This place has the most amazing views and if you don’t mind being further away from the ocean.The house was supplied with everything you could possibly need. The pool area was lovely and outdoor bathroom was appreciated.The owners were so wonderful to work with and so informative.It would be nice if the golf carts were included in the house rental as they were definitely needed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well-appointed and has everything one needs to enjoy your stay. While going up and down the hill in the golf cart does take some driving skill, it was a delight to come up from a busy and hot day at the beach to the breezy, cool deck of the house and relax in the pool. The views of the sunset sky from the deck were phenomenal and we enjoyed family time out there almost til bedtime. While we were there in a hot & humid time of year (July) the ample air conditioners and two fans in every bedroom meant we were cool and comfortable. The only room we could not sleep in was the outdoor bedroom -despite the fan and a/c unit my husband still found it too hot. I bet it’s amazing when the weather is a little cooler. As someone with a back issue and history of two back surgeries I always worry about beds. Every one of the beds was soooo comfortable and the pillows were perfect. I was very grateful for a good night’s sleep each night. We appreciated Gus, the property manager, who provided help and recommendations when Weber needed. The maid service every other day was great and the trusted taxi driver Margarito was a great service.

Something different AMAZING!

If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, visit this home in Sayulita, Mexico!! Everything was perfect! The home was clean a comfortable. The owners were so helpful and it was nice having a local property manager. Include their golf cart and you’re set!!

Gorgeous views! 50th Birthday Celebration

House was perfect. Views to die for. Pool was amazing. Ted & Brenda were fantastic hosts. Communication was on point. Help refer us to a great driver that shuttled us all to and from airport even stopping at the grocery store to stock up. Gus the caretaker was also full of great information and set up a catered dinner for our arrival date along with a taxi ride to Punta De Mita for dinner one night. Ted also set up a golf cart that was delivered upon arrival. Highly recommend this place!

A Magical Place

The house is amazing, especially the pool area. We used the golf carts most of the time, but walking into the town and beach wasn't that bad. Our favorite dinner was the one we had Gus cater at the house where we watched the sunset and sipped on margaritas. I suggest 3 couples book the home. My husband and I stayed in the casita, because the other members of our party had issues that prevented them from taking that area and we would have preferred to stay in the house. There is sleeping capacity for many more people, but that would require some to sleep in the den that seems more like a living room and is connected to the kitchen. Gus was fabulous and so helpful. He is connected to everyone in town and a wealth of information. We hope to stay at Vista Hermosa again!

Lovely!

Property was more beautiful in person, but overall as described. The pool was warm, we spent hours in it day and night. We were a group of 6 adults and had plenty of room for everyone. The hosts were very communicative and connected us to reliable transport to and from the airport as well as golf carts to get us around and up the steep hill. We had an amazing time, would recommend.

Perfect Place

Ted and Brenda are wonderful hosts and their home is everything you would hope for a family Getaway. They were happy to share their knowledge for transportation to and from the air port including a stop at the grocery store. All the best places to eat and where to get a wonderful massage. We Loved the sunshine the view and the pool and yes at times the Air conditioning. We will be back to Sayulita

Great view - owner should not talk with guests

View was stunning. Accomodations not adequate for my group. Mom/dad 3 adult sons and 2 uncles. Not a cooks kitchen and oven not US standatd. Oven literally exploded and oowner never asked if anyone was injured or anything thankfully Gus property manager was amazing.

Amazing vacation

Where do I start? Let me start with communication with the owners and the amazing staff that they have. Everyone was very helpful answering questions before and during the trip. Absolute top notch team. The house is perfect but to focus on one thing I will go with the heated swimming pool. Private. Relaxing and what a view. I would also recommend that everyone rent the golf cart. Makes everything simple coming and going as you please. Thank you for the wonderful vacation. We will return.

Perfect spot in Sayulita

The property is exactly what we were hoping it would be! We had an awesome visit from the time we arrived until the time we departed. The views, cabana, main house and pool are all very well kept and just as described and as shown in the photos. The heated pool was absolutely the highlight! We ended most days, soaking in the pool watching the sunsets! Thanks so much for sharing your spot with us! We hope to return! Kevin, Chrissy and friends

Beautiful home with some issues

We booked this house for the heated pool, which was in the title of the listing. Sadly, the pool was only heated for one day out of seven. Gus, the manager, was very nice and had lots of reasons for the problem: a broken water heater, a new but untested sensor, no repairmen available, etc. In the end, the owners did give us a small refund to make us feel better. The house listed a washer and dryer, but we were not allowed to use them, so bring extra bathing suits. The satellite TV, as listed, did not exist - it was a roku TV with Amazon as the only chanel. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but we brought my 94 year old mom who needed her heated pool and her shows. The house is lovely, comfortable beds, nice a/c, and a well equipped kitchen. The casita is charming (take a nap in that hammock) but whoever stays there needs good ear plugs and perhaps noise cancelling headphones; there's lots of ambient music floating up the hill. One thing we loved was the golf cart - it was exhilarating to zip down the hill around the curvy roads, luckily our daughter is an expert golf cart driver! Overall, we loved Sayulita and will be back, but next time would opt for a hotel since some of the luxuries we payed for did not exist at this house.

Honest Review

When we arrived, we never had anyone there to meet us. The house was tidy, but not clean. The property manager did not show up. We had to learn the house on our own, with the help of a few text messages. We didn't know when cleaners (who are great) were to come, gardeners and/or garbage - until they were actually there (to our surprise). The property manager came through the property on day 2 while we were away, and did not advise us of this The house is a nice property, with incredible views. The pool and patio area are awesome. We had heat in the pool for 24hrs, which got very warm. Asked how to control the heat, and it was turned off for the rest of the trip with no advice how to control it. The detached casita (4th bedroom) is completely outdoors. Needless to say when poor weather, bugs (scorpion on day 4) or excess noise (common in Sayulita), this was not a place to get sleep. The other 3 bedrooms were great, but not great for a family of 2 adults and 4 teenage kids. The toilets worked, but could not take any type of paper (even toilet paper, to our surprise). The wifi worked, but was spotty in some bedrooms. There is laundry, but it gets locked The road to the property is not safe for much. With any water the road is impossible to get up to without a 4wd vehicle. Our vehicle service to pick us up got stuck. Golf carts going down were sketchy and could be a problem We paid a premium and had the home rented for 14 days. We ended up leaving 3 days early

Absolutely Stunning

This house was hands down the best part of our trip and we had such a blast in the Beautiful City of Sayulita. This house was gorgeous top to bottom and Ted and Brenda have done such a great job with the property it is truly beautiful. Brenda (Host) called before our trip and guided me in all the great things that Sayulita has to offer and her expertise was so perfect. They have everything set up for you. (Golf carts, local eats, in house chef's if needed) The property manager was super helpful and very timely if we had any questions about the property or about sayulita in general. They also have an excellent car service to pick you up from PVR airport. Best advise is you ask for Giavanni if you go with there service. He made us laugh the entire drive to and from the airport. Another special thanks to Ted and Brenda for allowing us to stay at the house. We would recommend this house to anyone visiting the city of Sayulita.

Best vacation home in Sayulita!

The house was PERFECT for three couples celebrating decades of friendship, with a week in Sayulita. The fabulous pool was our hub and we spent many a happy hour there! The house was clean, well equipped, comfortable, & close to town- but far enough away to be private and quiet. The homeowners were helpful and kind. They called with details and instructions before the trip. They helped arrange golf carts, a cleaner, and a friendly local contact who answered questions quickly when texted. I hope to return to Sayulita one day and definitely want to stay here again. This house made our trip! THANK YOU T&B for sharing your lovely home with us!

Perfection at it's finest

We had an amazing time at this property. The house was perfect for our family. It has beautiful Mexican decor throughout the entire home. The outdoor space has phenomenal views of the Sayulita beach and is a great place for entertaining and lounging in the pool watching the sunset. The house comes fully stocked with everything you can think of. The house comes with a Golf Cart (per a fee for your stay). This will get you to town and the beach which is a quick 5 mins away. The house is located on Nanzal Hill. So I highly recommend the golf cart. Upon your arrival the property manager will meet you at the property and explain everything about the house. He is is super helpful with any questions about everything and anything. He has lived in Sayulita for 14 yrs. You can text or call him with anything that might arise during your stay and he will get it taken care of. He is also a great reference for any place that you might want to go during your stay. There is a cleaning lady (Vicki) who comes twice a week to clean the house. She is such a sweet lady and always has the house looking immaculate. Ted and Brenda (owners) have everything set up for a hassle free vacation. From start to finish the correspondence with both of them was exactly what you would want from renting a property. I highly recommend Vista Hermosa to anyone wanting the perfect Sayulita getaway. We definitely look forward to are next stay.

Amazing! I wish we had more time

Where to begin! Ted and Brenda were fantastic hosts. They communicated thoroughly and often leading up to our trip. Upon arrival - the driver (organized by Ted/Brenda) picked us up perfectly on time, took us to a grocery store, and dropped us off at the house / picked us up on our way out of town. The property manager was extremely helpful as well, answering all questions we had. The house was fantastic (I loved staying in the open air room) and the golf cart is a MUST for getting up and down the hill :) (well, not a must, we walked a bunch, but it sure was handy!). I told my family members all about it and am hoping to return again for another vacation.

Amazing Views and Great Service

We had a great time in Sayulita and would definitely come back to this house! The kitchen was well appointed with everything we could need and the property manager was a quick phone call or text away, which was very helpful. The house is located on a steep hill, which provides for stunning views but I would definitely recommend using the golf cart! We walked into town once but the golf cart made it faster and more convenient. Property owners were also very responsive and easy to communicate with! Highly recommend!

Truly exceptional views...

The pictures do not do this house justice. Truly magnificent views. The heated pool was so relaxing and clean. The palapa room with the hammock was a favorite with my kids and myself for afternoon naps. The golf cart is a must as the rode up to the house is quite steep. It also allows for easy rides to town for restaurants and the beach. Sayulita is definitely a foody destination, the restaurants were superb. We like to go somewhere different for our spring break trips, however we all feel we will book this house again.

Trip of a lifetime

I cannot describe fully with words what an amazing time we had staying at villa hermosa and experiencing Sayulita. Starting from the beginning Ted and Brenda made it clear how passionate they are about Sayulita and their home. And they were 100% accurate. The pictures and description of Villa Hermosa doesn't do it justice. Stunning views from every room, clean and welcoming, and the infinity pool was our favorite place to hang out. The casita was such a neat addition to Ted and Brendas property. We all took turns enjoying a night in the casita and one day enjoyed massages in it as well. We felt very safe on the property. The security system announces when someone is at the front gate or opening the lower casita gate. There was never a time we were worried about unwanted guests. We had 7 ladies on our trip that arrived at different times and Margerito and his crew were prompt and easy to work with to help us get to/from the airport and around town, Brenda and Ted highly suggested him and we were all very happy they did. Lastly I want to show my appreciation for the properties care taker Gus. He was our right hand man on this trip and I can’t thank him enough for answering our many questions. Whatever we needed Gus was there to take care of us. Thank you again Ted and Brenda for making us feel like family in your home. These 7 Midwesterner ladies made lots of memories that we will never forget❤️

Perfect Stay

Everything about the property description is accurate, and it's even more beautiful than the photos. We had a fabulous stay! Enjoyed every minute. Be aware that there is nearby home construction, which is not a problem if you are at the beach or in town. But it is noisy during the day while sitting at the pool. We'd love to come back and book this wonderful property again!
