Oversized bedskirt in bedroom #2 is a trip hazard. Three of our vehicles couldn’t get GPS within about ten miles of the lodge. Neither Verizon, T-Mobile or AT&T towers worked. House was well maintained and clean as a whistle.

Spacious home with many activities for the family. The hosts were readily available and responsive. The location was close to town, restaurants, kayak rental, a beach area, hiking, fishing. It was nice to have towels and sheets provided, along with other amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit across the bridge from the stream. Beautiful property I would recommend!

We had a great family vacation. The home was spacious, bright, and clean. We all enjoyed sitting on the back porch or playing games at the dining table. The children had fun in the creek and in the basement play room. Our grandchildren are calling it the "yellow slide cabin".

Beautiful place with nice little creek and fireflies

Plenty of space for everyone and nice kitchen and table setup where everyone can fit. Kids loved the creek and spent hours there playing and spotting small wildlife. We especially loved the small slide. Nightfall is very special here with stars appearing in the sky and fireflies/lightning bugs twinkling throughout the trees like Christmas lights. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions or needs. Hope to return.

Great house for a large family gathering

The owners were very accommodating, friendly and quick to respond. The house was clean, comfortable and even better than the photos show. There is plenty to do on the property to keep both children and adults entertained. We hope to return in the future!

Lovely retreat

Third Time Here

We have an annual get together of old friends. This location has for our needs perfectly for three years now, and we hope to come back.The home is very clean, everything was as expected. The large deck, back yard, and fire pit area beside the stream are very nice.Owners are quick to respond to questions and communicated very well.

Weekend getaway

We chose this property as a central location for family to meet and have a long weekend away between Christmas and New Year. Beautiful home! Lots of space. Minutes outside Saxton, near Raystown Lake and a 10 minute ride to Trough Creek State Park! We had an amazing and relaxing time.

Perfect home for family reunion

14 of us came from 5 different states for a family event. We had not all been together for a long time. The house had plenty bed spaces with a variety of configurations. Great for everyone to have their space. We all cooked and visited in the great room. Lots of space. Everything worked as it was suposed to. Kitchen well stocked with utinsels, pots, pans, etc. The kids loved it. Lots of room to play inside and out. Couldnt have been better.

Raystown Lake Lodge

Definitely the nicest place we have stayed at. It was so comfortable and welcoming. Perfect for our Christmas get together. Only suggestion would be to put a light at the bottom of the stairs. The last step is a little hard to see. I would definitely recommend this place. It’s great!

Another great weekend at Little Valley Lodge

We just spent another great weekend at Little Valley Lodge. It's the perfect location for our family "guys group" to get together after Thanksgiving. Plenty of space for us to enjoy a long weekend. Galen and Jolie are fantastic hosts, too! They communicate so well about the check in and check out procedures, but mostly they are the friendliest folks and have remembered us from our past stays. Thanks so much and we can't wait to come back!

Annual fall family getaway

Nice place! We liked the “dungeon room” for the kids to play in! The yard was nice to play games in and let the kids run (they liked the slide!) Kitchen had the essentials.

Our Fourth Year Here!

Our family has enjoyed our autumn get-together at Little Valley Lodge for the last four years. We have found it to be consistently clean and well-appointed. There are many things to do both indoors (board games, 4-square, ping pong, pool table) and outdoors (lawn games, volleyball, hunting crawfish in the stream). Also, hiking trails are nearby. The hosts are wonderful people and are quick to respond to any questions. Lord willing, we will be back for a fifth year!

Family Reunion

Family from Maryland, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania met here. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The living space was awesome. Open concept of kitchen, dining room and living room allowed for the nine of us to have plenty of space to socialize. Outdoors we loved the deck and fire pit area.

Great spot for family

We travel once a year with our four daughters and their families. That is fun 17-21 depending on if everyone can make it. The upper level has a bedroom with 5 beds … 5 of our grandchildren sleep up there and loved it. (14, 11, 9, 9, 5 year olds). Couple with no children in one of Q rooms, we stayed on ground level room with queen/double and other families used the remaining bedrooms. The kids loved life on bottom level with pool table, large screen for video games music videos. The two littlest ones absolutely over the slide of the deck! The adults spent most of our time on beautiful, large covered Deck and we utilized badminton net, Cornhole set, and ladder all set. We brought bocce and lots of outdoor space. One entire day was spent by while family building a dam in the creek, we went to 7 point beach, and tatmun run. Beautiful beaches!!! Hiked Trough Creek State Park and loved it. The kids absolutely loved that short but fun walk. Also hiked Warrior Path and a few tubed down it. Not a crazy ride, but they had a ball. Read the reviews in the water park and passed on that. Well stocked house and owners were amazing with communication and answering questions when needed. Fire pit was a nightly event. Loved it. Only feedback is a few lights on bridge, maybe just little clip on solar lights might have been helpful. Great spot and we made many family memories this past week. Enjoyed!!!

Extra charge for anybody over 10 people but it sleeps 21.

Never seen there was an extra charge for extra guest. Ended up calling her because when we arrived because the was full of water.. she found out i was having my kid and grandchildren staying. If everyone stayed it would have been 21.

Little Valley Lodge
