Kermit’s Cabin in Finger Lakes Region

  • Beautiful rustic cabin located on 100 acre farm in Finger Lakes region. Two-story cabin first floor has living room, kitchen and bathroom. Second floor is an open loft with one queen bed, one for bed and two twin beds. There is a fire pit, picnic table and kayaks in a canoe for guests to use & many trails. Located about 28 minutes from Watkins Glen international raceway, 27 minutes away from Keuka Lake, and 20 minutes from Corning. No smoking in cabin. Dogs are welcome. Please note: the WiFi is a Verizon Mobile Hot Spot.

This cabin provided the perfect location for a weekend get away. Had everything we needed- a firepit, a private and peaceful outdoor space, cool AC for the little time we spent indoors, and a coffee machine. Close by to Watkins Glen State Park and the walkable town of Corning. The hosts additionally offered farm fresh eggs (which were delicious) and firewood for purchase. We really enjoyed our time here.

The home is exactly as described. The process, host and communication were phenomenal from the moment of initial booking. Loved the privacy and location of the home!!!

The Cabin was clean, comfortable and a peaceful place to relax with quiet and private surroundings. It was a great home base for us while spending time with family in Big Flats and Hammondsport. The location of the cabin made it easy to enjoy a few of the area's excellent wineries. The only drawback was that the Wi-Fi was inconsistent during our stay. Guests who need a reliable connection for work or streaming may want to keep that in mind.

We had a wonderful weekend at Kermit’s cabin. The cabin was well supplied and organized. The bed was very comfortable. Its location is perfect for those trying to be in a secluded area but not too far from town. The hosts were easy and fast to communicate with. For us it was the perfect location for a home base while we explored the Finger Lakes area. We would definitely recommend to others.

Another great time at the cabin. A nice secluded spot where you can relax while having so much to see and do in the FLX area. We had a mix of hiking and winery visits during the day while enjoying stars through our telescope by a campfire at night. Already looking forward to next year.

Very comfortable place!

We enjoyed our stay at Kermit’s Cabin! It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Really loved relaxing at the fire pit in the evenings.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend. Perfect location to see the fall foliage and visit Watkins Glen. The cabin was perfect. So cute and the perfect size. It stormed a couple nights we were there and the cabin was so warm and cozy. Everything was spotless. Bed was comfy. Electric fireplace was the perfect touch. Great weekend!

Super Comfy Cabin

Great little place with a lot of charm. Unfortunately our stay was cut short mainly due to weather, but the place is perfect for a getaway. Its nice and secluded and our dog had plenty of room for exploration. Would definitely recommend and will be returning once weather is a tad warmer.

Cute, cozy getaway

Excellent hospitality and communication from the hosts. Cabin was comfortable, well stocked and in a peaceful, remote location, but close enough to the waterfall hikes we were there for. Wifi not great but we had a full house trying to use it, and actually preferred the technology disconnect for a weekend! Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Cabin

It was a nice cozy little cabin on a peaceful piece of ground. Remote yet easy to find. Inline water heater was awesome, refrigerator and stove were brand new. The beds were quite comfortable and the linens were nice.

Great cabin off the beaten path

The cabin was a perfect fit for our anniversary weekend away. It was our first time visiting the finger lakes region. I ran the Wineglass Half Marathon on Sunday and my wife and I explored the area and Watkins Glen as well. We really liked the seclusion of the cabin and the trails all around it were nice as well. Hope to visit this area again and will look to stay at Kermit’s cabin again.

The property was really cute as pictured and on a nice piece of land that makes it very peaceful. There are mindful details (such as a kids stool under the sink) which were appreciated.

Kermit's Cabin

Friendly remote location. The kids loved fishing at the ponds. Scenic drive to Seneca or Keuka Lakes (20+ min). Hosts are very nice and responsive.

Picture perfect

Exactly what it looks like. Amenities were all great. Property manager was amazing and communicative. The property is a hidden haven of quiet, outdoors and stars. Book it! Traveled with kids and dog, all enjoyed to the fullest.

Great cabin, close to Watkins Glen

We had a great time staying at this wonderful cabin. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Can’t say enough good things about the property and the responsiveness of the hosts. When we weren’t out enjoying the parks, lakes and scenery, we were able to relax on the porch and unplug. We traveled with our dog and he spent many hours sleeping on the porch while he waited for his next adventure. We’ve never seen him so relaxed on vacation. We would definitely stay here again.
