This home is beautiful and it is a great value. We enjoyed the infinity pool and beautiful view. There is a family of toucans that live in the tree close to the driveway. Also, capuchin would visit. There are a lot of critters, (bats, frogs, huge insects, and a friendly dog) that our kiddos loved seeing). The only hard thing about this home that I really want other families to be aware of is that the layout has each of the bedrooms disconnected from one another. The main living area is one building and has a bathroom and kitchen. Kitchen has all you need. The master bedroom is a separate building upstairs. You walk up a steep flight of stairs to access it. It has a large balcony with a beautiful view. The two guest bedrooms are separate buildings downstairs far away from one another. One is located on the left side of the living room building and the other on the right. We did not understand this when we booked, and had we known, we wouldn't have booked the home. I think this setup is awesome for couples or a family with adult children. However, our kids are younger (5,8,10,12) and we did not feel comfortable in another country in a remote setting (it is located way up in the mountains & you need 4 wheel drive) to have our young kids sleeping so far away from us. So we ended up all having to stay in one bedroom, which was less than ideal. For the right family, it would be amazing. Please just understand the sleeping situation if you have younger kids!
