This is a gorgeous property in the heart of historic Savannah. It is walkable to dozens of restaurants, shopping, historic sites -- everything you could want. The interior is attractively designed and decorated, taking advantage of the historic charm of exposed brick and beams. The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable, though I'm not a fan of 100% polyester sheets and bedding. The full kitchen, washer and dryer allow for a comfortable stay of several nights, with room for a family or small group to spread out. Everything worked, everything was clean, and communication with John prior to and during our stay was prompt and helpful.We were a bit unprepared for the noise of the bar located immediately below. Although it was mentioned in another review, and common sense prepared us for some level of background noise based on the location, I was thinking more along the lines of a busy restaurant/bar until midnight or so, rather than bass-thumping music until 3am every night. Saturday and Sunday were the loudest, when the bar would turn up the bass after around 10pm so the vibrations were felt and heard in the walls. Also, cigarette smoke would find its way in, so once it got busy downstairs, I was particularly aware of the smoke -- but I am pretty sensitive to smoke, and woke up congested. The owners are clearly aware of the issue, based on the air filter, odor absorbers, and air fresheners located throughout the aprtment. We considered relocating, but the weekday noise wa
