Property was convenient for all things along the riverfront and the historic district. There is some construction in the area that has a minor impact on walking in that area.

It will be different in a year or so, but right now the entire place is torn up for remodeling, outside and inside. Also, the room we stayed in was remodeled a strange setup. The bed is right beside the open area with sink/mirror where you get ready, then the bathroom with door. There is no way to use the restroom without blinding whoever is still sleeping because as soon as you turn on the bathroom light, you get yelled at because it woke everyone up. There is nothing to block the light. If you lay on your side you can look straight into the shower. The walkway to get to River St. is kind of there with orange barrels telling you where to go around the whole area construction, but it was a muddy, confusing mess as it routes you around the 3 or 4 other hotels, also, that are all under construction. The thing that made me the most nervous was the giant disclaimer posted on every glass door into the hotel that per the state of Georgia, you are entering this property at your own risk; if you are killed, the state is not liable. These weren’t like any other signs I’ve ever seen; they were huge and almost like a warning to be on your toes. I did ask the man at the registration desk for a restaurant recommendation, because I had a few ideas but I like to ask local people. He told me to use Google on my phone.😁 I loved the breakfast and the lovely Miss Patricia- she was such a kind, fun person and made everyone smile.

This hotel is located right on river street with easy access to everything. They have ballet service, which is very convenient. It boasts an outdoor heated pool and bar on the rooftop with nice city views. The rooms are up to date and brand new carpets. The hotel is pet friendly, will be bringing dog next time. The hotel was very quiet when we came. Would recommend to anyone.

We attempted to check in early on Monday. No accommodations were made other than wanting to charge us an additional $25 dollars for checking in early. So, our family left our car with the valet and walked around about 3 hours in town and came back and our room was still not an available at 3:45. We asked if there was another room available and finally we were able to check in. The first night we were there we noticed there was updates being made to the workout space a floor above us, as we prepared for sleep we noticed noise on the floor above us and we had to call the front desk at 11:23 to ask if they could stop and shortly after the noise stopped. Day 2 we came back from walking around town, very tired and wanting to just relax, after we took a break in our room we went out for dinner and we walked to the elevator and come to find the elevators were not working, we walked down 7 flights of stairs hoping that when we returned it would be back in order, luckily it was. That same night we go to bed and hear the tapping again from construction above us and it finally stopped around 11:00 and started again at 6:15 in the morning. Usually we are very understanding of upgrades being made but the staff was not accommodating and the constant noise was ridiculous. We will not return to this particular hotel.

Overall, the hotel is nice and the room was generally clean and comfortable! However, the hotel had to be evacuated during our stay because of a dryer fire (supposedly?) and that’s ALL the information that was provided! It was a scary experience to say the least… So as guests, we should have been given more details about what happened! Also, there is major construction going on all around the hotel (one or more additional hotels are being built) and there was NO mention of this upon booking!! Not only was it difficult to get around the area, but it was very unsightly and took away from the whole “riverfront experience”!! This SHOULD be disclosed when booking a room!!!!!

Loved the location of the property, close to shopping & restaurants. Also easy to hop on downtown trolley transportation. We ended up having a beautiful view! Breakfast was good and they even had an evening soup, salad, & drinks which unfortunately didn't work with our schedule. The room looked newly updated and was very comfortable. There was construction going on all around the hotel but it didn't bother us at all. Would love to stay there again!

The surrounding area was very loud because of construction and traffic. The shower had a broken shelf in it but the room overall was clean. The breakfast staff were all friendly and helpful. The front desk staff took a while to acknowledge while we were trying to check in even though we were the only ones in the lobby.

My family and i were in the dirtiest room ever! The bed was not changed and it had hair in both beds the shower also had hair all around the drain area! The chair was peeling! Furniture old and out dated! Never again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay, and have already begun planning my next trip to Savannah, which will be at least 2 nights. I will definitely stay at your property again. Obviously all that construction going on was a bit distracting but progress is always all around us in Savannah. The place was clean, the free breakfast was great, and the staff was pleasant. I was steps away from the river, and a 2 minute walk to River Street shopping, as well as to the trolley stop that sold tickets. A two minute walk to the trolley takes me anywhere in Savannah I would want to go. When I'm done at City Market or wherever, I am returned, and once again, a 2 minute walk to my hotel. Good grief..There are also several restaurants in walking distance they were really good, some of which I ate at. I don't think there's any place better to stay. I have no financial interest in this property nor any relatives working there. I just really liked it

I paid for a River View room and although I had the receipt that showed I paid for it, the property refused to honor it. The view from the room I was given was a brick wall for my Valentine’s date night. The thermostat was set at 68 and was not adjustable. Maintenance came to fix it while we were out and set it on 76. Still was not able to adjust it on my own and roasted all night. Terrible customer service at the front desk. I will not book again
