Review for Senoa

The property pictured is amazing; however, there was an issue with my booking and we ended up at Senoa. The offered alternative was in a great location and perfectly fine (just a little disappointing not to get this spectacular listing). There’s plenty of room for a large group. Just a block from Jones St and an easy walk to Forsyth Park every morning.

Great location

This is a historic property in a historic area. Very charming. Great for walking to and from restaurants, parks, events. The house itself is very charming and decorated for the period of the house. We had several issues with appliances ( range and dishwasher) not functioning properly and scalding hot water from shower heads and a smoke detector randomly activating due to steam from a nearby bathroom. Maintenance came and corrected a few of the issues but we still had problems with the range. A few of us were experiencing ill effects from mold around air vents. Very few windows are operational so it was difficult to get fresh air circulation. The mattresses are in need of replacement. Very saggy and uncomfortable. It wasn’t ideal for 4 couples to sleep comfortably with double size beds in a couple of the rooms but we new we a larger group wanting to stay together so we made it work. I think next time we will opt for a hotel so everyone is comfortable with their sleeping arrangements.

Amazing Property!

This house was perfect for our family, 6 adults and 2 children. It was very spacious and the decor was fantastic! The location couldn’t be better, we were able to walk everywhere. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property!!

This place was like walking into a dream. Gorgeously decorated and located in the heart of the historic district. Not only were we close to many restaurants, boutiques, shops and historic properties, we also felt very safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking with Southern Belle rentals again.

Beautiful family home

The property is a stunning historic home in a prime location to experience Savannah’s historic neighborhoods. It is beautifully furnished with a well-equipped kitchen. The internet is a little unreliable, and if there is cable TV, we couldn’t access it, but there was so much to do that we didn’t really miss it.

Wonderful Weekend

Our group of 10 retired adults stayed in this house for a Savannah getaway. We couldn’t have been happier! We loved the patio/courtyard and spent every morning an evening there. Church bells from across the street serenaded us; and we could always find our way home because we were located next to one of the historic houses on the Savannah map. It was an easy walk to the riverfront passing through 3 beautiful squares, and city market was just as close. If I had to names a negative, there were a lot of stairs, but it was worth it to us. We will definitely stay in this house if we go back.

Girls weekend!!

We came to savannah to celebrate my daughters bachelorette weekend. The house was roomy and clean it met all of our needs! It was definitely too far to walk to river street for us anyway, so you will need a lyft or an uber to get anywhere from this house. Jones street is a beautiful mossy tree lined street that was worth staying at!

A dream bachelorette house

We stayed here with 9 women for my sister’s bachelorette and had a blast. The house was beautifully decorated with a large sitting area and dining room on the first floor. Upstairs, there were plenty of places for people to lounge or work remotely. There are many restaurants, shops, and a few bars nearby. We ended up going down to the waterfront most nights (more lively bar scene) which was less than a mile away. It was a nice ~10/15 minute walk or a super fast uber. The house sits on a pretty park in a historic / residential area. We liked the location — it was very peaceful but still had plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, etc. nearby.

Unmatched Savannah Getaway

The home was beautiful and fantastically appointed. An idyllic get away for friends, family, or both. Close to everything but not on the main drag for too much hustle and bustle. Exceeded all expectations.

Fabulous stay in Savannah

The home is stunning! Absolutely beautiful with modern updates while retaining historical charm. The décor is straight from a decorating magazine. The home was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable, and the location is perfect in the middle of the Savannah historic district. The home is right across from Madison square with a beautiful view for sitting on the main floor balcony and enjoying a morning coffee or evening cocktail. I was initially concerned because the pool is in Tybee Island not near the property but the drive is short and the pool is beautiful. The kids enjoyed a couple of afternoons of swimming and the adults enjoyed lounging by the pool so in the end I was grateful for the access to the pool. You can walk to the beach from the pool. The property management company was very responsive and ensured we were pleased with our stay.
